Global Hindu Heritage Foundation in association with J D Foundation organized a huge bike rally in celebration of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsavam Independence Day. The bike rally was organized from Gopala Patnam to G V M C Gandhi statue.  With enthusiasm and devotion, they garlanded Mahatma Gandhi statues and spoke about the Independence Day. 
Independence Day Celebrated
Srinivas Pinnamaneni, who is in charge of all Global Hindu Heritage Foundation activities – Ghar Waapasi, Bala Samskar Kendras and renovation of Grama Devatas – says:
“I strongly believe more in action rather than in likes and WhatsApp sharing. On the eve of 75th Independence Day celebrations a proud moment in Indian history and remembering the sacrifices made by millions of freedom fighters. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and JD Foundation combinedly organized a huge bike rally in Visakhapatnam headed by JD Lakshminarayana (IPS). Throughout the rally people participated and welcomed with a full spirit and hearts filled with patriotism.
We continue to remain like any other animal if you forget your roots and sacrifices made for your good.“
The function was celebrated for three days – August 13, 14 and 15. GHHF distributed India flag to many People to fly over their houses. Several people came to Function Hall and picked up the flags and hoisted the flags in front of their houses. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism as they sand Patriotic songs, chanting Vanda Mataram and Bharatmataaki Jai. 
Sri J D Lakshminarayana spoke on the significance of Independence Day and reminded ever body to remember the sacrifices people have made to free India from British rule. 
British rule in India began in 1757 when, following the British victory at the Battle of Plassey, the English East India Company began exercising control over the country. Independence Day, in India, national holiday celebrated annually on August 15. Independence Day marks the end of British rule in 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian nation. It also marks the anniversary of the partition of the subcontinent into two countries, India and Pakistan, which occurred at midnight on August 14–15, 1947.
PM Modi distributed national flags
Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out national flags to the daughters of PMO staff members after they tied rakhi on his wrist. “Every Indian has a special bond with the Tiranga. Gave the Tiranga to my young friends earlier today. The smile on their faces says it all!” PM Modi said in a tweet.
