[GHHF] A New Life for the 'Dappu' Beat - GHHF Lends a Hand to SC Dappu Artists

In the tapestry of Sanatana Dharma, every caste and its traditional occupation holds immense value for society. However, due to economic hardship and evolving social landscapes, many of our Hindu brethren are being forced to abandon their ancestral vocations and handicrafts. This void is being filled by people of other faiths, who are seizing control of these very professions. The unfortunate result is that our own Hindu communities are now often reduced to working under them in their own traditional fields.
To counter this predicament and empower the Hindu community financially, the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) is committed to making a difference. Through our 'Hindu Jeevana Jyoti' (Light of Hindu Life) project, we stand in support of our economically disadvantaged Hindu brothers and sisters.
As part of this initiative, we recently provided new 'Dappu' instruments to the Dappu artists of the SC community in Relli Colony, 2nd Line, Anand Pet, Guntur. This event was graced by the presence of Sri Thunuguntla Rajesh, the National General Secretary of GHHF. The 'Dappu' is not just a musical instrument or a profession; it is a vital part of our religious ceremonies and celebrations. It is the collective responsibility of us all to protect and preserve such traditional vocations.
We are actively engaged in various programs, such as helping individuals start small businesses and providing vocational training, to the best of our ability. However, with greater support from the wider Hindu community, we can expand these initiatives on a much larger scale. Let us protect our traditional crafts and strengthen the Hindu community financially. Please lend your support to this noble cause.
