Global Hindi Heritage Foundation is incredibly happy to inform you that the Annual Ratha Saptami festival was organized in Suryanarayana Temple Budhagavi Village. As per the legend during the 13 century, a Chalukyan ruler constructed this Temple. Since Usha and Chhaya are the wives of Surya Narayana, cut the 5-foot Padmapani symbol of dark stone holding lotus buds. The Padma remains for intelligence Usha and Chaya for time everlasting. In Hindu tradition, the specific type of God is Lord Surya, which is considered part of Shiva and Vishnu. He is one of the eight types of Lord Shiva and the god of light.
The 5-foot Padmapani Idol of black granite holding lotus buds is flanked by Usha and Chaya. The Padma stands for wisdom, Usha, and Chaya for eternity. As per Hindu traditions, Surya is considered as the only visible form of God that can be seen every day and is regarded as an aspect of Siva and Vishnu by Shaivites and Vaishanvites respectively.
