[GHHF] Attended Bala Samskar Kendra Students in Assam; talked about Respecting Mothers; Teachers’ Roles.

On December 22, 2023, Sri Samratt Dutta arranged a big meeting with more than hundred students attended by more than 100 parents. It was gratifying to se so many students at one place and witness their activities and their talents.
Many students demonstrated their talents by reciting so many slokas they learned in the classes and presented a number of dances. What they learned and how they presented was very impressive.
Srinivas Pinnamaneni spoke about GHHF activities in Bharat and Bangladesh. He mentioned other countries where Bala Samskar Kendras will be started soon. He that that it was gratifying to see so many students attending the classes. Ae also advises the teachers to teach about the richness of our culture and serve as role models for them. They should work hard to ensure the students will be our future leaders to protect our Dharma.
Prakasarao Velagapudi talked about the importance of respecting parents. Students were advised to listen to their mothers and should not talk ack to them. Our scriptures talk about Matru Devo Bhava. They are our Gods. We should give due respect to our mothers and do pada namaskar every day. We should chant mantras whenever we wake up, whenever we step on the ground when we get up, whenever we take baith etc.
He mentioned Lord Rama who obeyed his parents wishes and never questioned them. When he was informed that he has to spend 13 years In the forest, he never went to his father and questioned him by saying why did you promise Kaikeyi and so on.
Sri Samrat spoke about the importance of Bala Samskar Kendras and requested all the mothers to encourage their children to attend and learn about the meanings of our traditions.
Being a Gita Jayanthi Day, all the students distributed Bhagavad Gita boos to the students and encouraged them to read and practice the ideals embedded in the Book.
As a way of celebration, Bala Samskar Kendra teachers organized a drawing competition among the Students with a Theme to draw Gods Images. Three students from three schools were given prizes.
