Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to celebrate Independence Day among all our Bala Samskar Kendras in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
Independence Day celebrations were held in Vepulaparthi village at Bala Samskar Kendra. About 70 children were present and the elders of the village were also invited and the celebrations were grand. The program was successful by explaining about the great leaders who fought for freedom, what we should do for our country in the future, the traditions and commitments of our country and giving sweets to everyone.

Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Bhagat Singh, Dadabhai Naoroji, Tantia Tope; Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak Ashfaqulla Khan l Nana Sahib, Sukhdev, Kunwar Singh, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and others.
Subhash Chandra Bose: One of the greatest Indian freedom fighters that history witnessed was none other than Subhas Chandra Bose. He was born on 23rd January 1897. He was a radical nationalist and his ultimate patriotism carved a hero out of him. Bose disagreed with the ideals of non-violence promoted by Gandhi, instead of believing that only armed revolt could oust the British from India.
Vallabhbhai Patel was born on 31st October 1875. A senior leader of the Indian National Congress, he had an immense contribution to the Indian freedom struggle as one of the most influential and strong-minded Indian freedom fighters. He was one of the most influential leaders of Gujarat, who organized peasant movements against the British based on Gandhi’s ideals of non-violence.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak was a remarkable freedom fighter born in 1856. Famously known for his quote, ‘Swaraj is my Birthright. He published several rebellious newspapers and built schools to defy British Rule. He was the third member of the Lal-Bal-Pal along with Lala Lajpat Rai and Bipin Chandra Pal.
Mangal Pandey – He was a soldier in British army but rebelled against his Commander and was executed in 1857.
Bhagat Singh – Known for his patriotic rebellion against the British and was executed at the age of 23.
Rani Lakshmibai – the ruler of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the rebellion of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British Rule.
Chandra Sekhar Azad - a revolutionary who started Hindustan Republican Association. He was arrested for his participation in the non-cooperation movement.
