Role in the freedom struggle
Chandrashekhar Azad Full name Chandrashekhar Sitaram Prasad Tiwari. On 1906 July 23 he was born to Pandit Sitaram and Jagrani Devi in Bhadrapatnam, city panchayat of Alirajpur district, Madhya Prades. Primary education is in Bhavra village of Jhabua district, and higher education is in Varanasi, Kashi. After failing in studies, she ran away to Mumbai at the age of 13 and worked as a laborer in a slum. The 'Jallianwala Bagh' massacre in 1919 left him deeply traumatized. Kakori train robbery

On this occasion, a passenger was accidentally killed in the firing they conducted. British police registered a murder case against Swaran Singh, Ram Prasad Bismil, and Ashfakhulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, Durga Bhagwati Chandra Vohra, Roshan Singh, Sachindra Bakshi, Chandrashekhar Azad, Vishnu Sharan Dablish, Keshav Chakraborty, Bhanwar Lal, Mukunda Lal, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Manmatha Nath Guptas were arrested. Due to lack of evidence, 15 people were released. The final verdict was issued on April 6, 1927. But Chandrashekhar Azad escaped undetected by the police.
Suicide
1931 February 27th, morning Chandrashekhar Azad to meet his revolutionary friend Sukhdev. Police first received information that they were approaching Alfred Park in Allahabad. Circulated the park. He shot and killed three policemen who came to arrest him. Sukhdev fought heroically with them until he escaped from there. Realizing that it was impossible, he shot himself dead with his revolver. After the liberation of the country, the park was named 'Chandrashekhar Azad Park.'
