[GHHF] Bala Samskara Kendras: Transforming Carefree Children into Epitomes of Culture and Values!
As part of preserving Sanatana Hindu Dharma and imparting ethical values and cultural heritage to future generations, a magnificent "Parents’ Pada Puja" (Matru-Pitru Pada Puja) program was organized. Conducted under the auspices of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) Bala Samskara Kendra, the event took place with utmost devotion and religious fervor at the local Sri Ramalaya Temple in Venkata Nayuni Palle village, Dhone Mandal, Nandyal district.
The program commenced in a deeply spiritual atmosphere with the sacred chanting of 'Omkaram' and Vedic prayer verses. Following this, the traditional lamp (Deepa Prajwalanam) was lit before the portrait of Bharat Mata, paying rich tributes to the motherland. On this auspicious occasion, the children performed 'Kolatam' (traditional stick dance) to the rhythm of cultural devotional songs, which added a vibrant festive splendor to the village. The synchronized performance of the children captivated the gathered audience and villagers alike.
Upholding the timeless Vedic injunction "Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava" (Treat your mother and father as God), all the children of the Bala Samskara Kendra performed a ritualistic foot-worship (Pada Puja) for their parents. This deeply emotional scene moved the devotees and villagers to tears of joy. Witnessing their children wash their feet, offer prayers, and seek blessings with such profound reverence, the parents were overwhelmed with emotion. They heartfeltly blessed their children and expressed deep gratitude to the organization for instilling such noble values.
Following the rituals, the organizers interacted with the parents to understand the behavioral changes observed in the children after joining the Bala Samskara Kendra. Expressing their immense joy, the parents shared: "Previously, our children would get hooked on mobile phones immediately after returning from school, making mischief and throwing tantrums without listening to our words. However, ever since they started attending the Bala Samskara Kendra, an incredible transformation has taken place. They no longer look at smartphones. Instead, they perform daily prayers at home and regularly visit temples. It brings us boundless joy as parents to see them go to school elegantly, adhering to our rich Hindu traditions. Furthermore, listening to them recite Bhagavad Gita Shlokas so clearly and melodiously makes us feel that our lives as parents are truly fulfilled."
This poignant event successfully demonstrated once again that the Bala Samskara Kendras run by the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation are playing a monumental role in shaping the future generation into cultured, well-mannered, and spiritually inclined individuals. The village elders and devotees lauded the organizers and congratulated the children for making the program a grand success.
