As part of expanding our activities in Odisha, we held our first meeting in the Konark area, where the world-famous Sun Temple is located. Through the initiative of our National General Secretary, Sri Rajesh , Hindu brethren from the fishing colony attended this meeting. On this occasion, we informed them about the objectives of our GHHF.

It was in this meeting that Rajesh learned about a great Hindu organization called Swadhyay Parivar . Founded by Sri Pandurang Shastri Athavale (Dadaji) , this organization is doing incredible work even among the most marginalized sections of society, using the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita given by Sri Krishna Paramatma as a weapon. Their selfless efforts are truly commendable.

Generally, we often see incidents of severe religious conversions happening in fishing villages, taking advantage of their innocence. Additionally, many people are becoming slaves to addictions. However, the Swadhyay Parivar organization is effectively protecting the coastal fishing villages of Odisha from these problems. If not for their continuous efforts, many more conversions would have taken place there.

Unfortunately, a conversion mafia from Andhra Pradesh has already entered those fishing areas, built churches, and is converting many people.
