[GHHF] Ghar Waapasi – 3000 People received Surya Namaskar Diksha on Radha Saptami Day in Agency Area around Visakhapatnam
W. J. Grant in his book The Spirit of India says:
"The religion of the Hindus is rich in legend and stupendous allegory. It is a religion of great dignity and beauty. Its wrestlings with reality are as courageous as any in the whole history of mankind..' Indian thought has generally been contemplative, it has seldom been enamored of the material side of life."
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) in association with Sri Saidatta Manasa Peetham has been planning to organize this Ghar Waapasi in the Vishakhapatnam area. Srisai Datta Manasa Swami and his disciples went to many villages and talked about the richness of our culture knowing that they became Christians not because of the message of Bible but because of their financial circumstances, health-related issues, deceptive interpretation of Hindu scriptures and demeaning the multiplicity of Gods and Goddesses. Diksha can be given on a one-to-one basis or in a group depending on the ceremony.
3000 residents took Surya Namaskar Diksha
Sri Sai Mansa Swami planned to give Surya Diksha to the villagers in Agency area near Visakhapatnam. About 300 people attended and performed Surya Namaskar posture to celebrate Ratha Saptami and also to receive Deeksha. Diksha/Deeksha means preparation for a religious ceremony or activity. This is the time for a Guru to give proper guidance for the disciples as to the initiation of sacred or religious activity. It simply says initiation into a spiritual path.
Vishnu Yamala (tantra) says: "The process that bestows divyam jnanam (transcendental, spiritual knowledge) and destroys sin (pāpa), the seed of sin and ignorance, is called diksha by the spiritual persons who have seen the Truth (desikais tattva-kovidaih)."
Scriptures talk about five types of diksha or initiation. It can be given by word, touch, sight, mind, or physical presence. This initiation process allows disciple to grow spiritually and allow them to fulfill their desire to quench for their thirst for new beginning.
Sri Swamiji gave Disha to more than 3000 people by demonstrating 12 Surya namaskar posture as they chant the mantra that associates with each posture. He made the repeat the mantra for each posture and explained the meaning.
Guidance: Sri Swamiji instructed them to do 21 time each day and the procedure to do it in order to receive the full benefit of growing spiritually.

Para and Apara Knowledge
Talking about the differences between Hinduism and Christianity he explained the meaning and essence of Para Vidya and Apara Vidya. Apara Vidya is for us to lean to make a living. Para Vidya is for spiritual development. They teach us to develop different samskaras and modes of thinking. That is the reason Hindus do not try to convert people by deceptive means. The Upanishads reiterate that “the Self is not known through the study of scriptures, nor through subtlety of intellect nor through much learning. The Self is revealed to one who longs to know the Self.” Hinduism teaches us to see God in everything and our work should be to envision divinity among everything. We should not look at somebody to receive and convert them to another religion.
Sri Sai Datta Mansa Swamy has been visiting this village for more than three months and started talking to you and seeking their help to help the needy. Then he started talking about the difference between Hinduism and Christianity. He emphasized the importance of the scientific nature of our Hindu customs and how our families maintain unity and look at the welfare of all the people irrespective of their religion. He gave several examples of hatred that are found in the Bible and compared with Hindu scriptures which emphasize love, compassion, and peace.
