Abdullah Wassaf, writing in the 14th century A.D. says of India in his history book, Tazjiyatul Amsar:

" India, according to the concurrent opinion of all writers, is the most agreeable abode on earth and the most pleasant quarter of the world. Its dust is purer than air and its air is purer than purity itself:  Its delightful plains resemble the garden of paradise.”

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform the consistent and persistent attempts to organize Ghar Waapasi in Anantapur District. Sri Gopi Chary Garu and his associates visit each house and distribute the flyers and talk about the richness of Hinduism and why they should return to their original religion. They have taken all precautions required during this pandemic.

Under the guidance of Sri Gopi Chary, three Pracharaks have been going to villages with a mission to highlight the richness of Sanatana Dharma. They are going to the Christian families and give information about the differences between Christianity and Hinduism. They are sharing the 4-page document about the rights of Hindus and how to encounter Christian aggression.

12 Christian Families Returned to Hindu Dharma
on June 20, 2022,  twelve (12) Christian families returned to Hinduism. A total of about 35 members embraced Hindu Dharma.  It is agreed that if they convert, they will be entitled for reservations in government jobs and decide to become Hindus so that they will be recognized as OC. They were told that the children will be entitled for reservations as per Indian Constitution. Many of them were not aware of the quota reserved for minorities.

My reaction

This was the last Ghar Waapasi program I attended before I returned to the USA. We were driving from Anantapur to the village where Ghar Waapasi was conducted. About one kilometer away from the site I saw a large number of people holding Hanuman flags, chanting Jai Sriram. With tribal people dancing they were walking on the main road.  I was asking our friend Ram Sharma Garu, why our Hindu folks were demonstrating on the main road. He smiled. Then all of a sudden, I saw our GHHF Banner, and I was really surprised to see them welcoming me to the site. GHHF is grateful to Sri Gopi Chary and three other associates to coordinate this welcome.

Twelve (12) families along with their children embraced Hinduism amid the highly charged spiritual atmosphere where 7 Vedic Brahmins helped them to follow the instructions to return to Hindu Dharma.  Everyone has been given protection bracelets, then performed Navagraha Puja, participated in homas and performed Abhishekam to Lord Shiva sporting Vibhuti on their forehead.  by Shiva through their hands.
All 12 families sat around 5 Homa gundas (pits) and performed Mahalakshmi Homa, and Navagraha Homam, followed by the purnahuti program that was completed in a grand manner.
Later, everyone was blessed with 2 Kumkum Bharinis, a copper vessel, a saffron color towel, a saree, a lungi,  and a flag with Sri Rama's picture.

More than 150 Hindus, who came to witness the event to encourage the new converts, were also blessed with tying protective bracelets by doing Sankalpa to them.
Finally, all the devotees together were given tirtha prasadam. About 200 people were given Annadana following Ghar Waapasi Program.

I Spoke at Ghar Waapasi Program:

I expressed my appreciation to our Ghar Waapasi team for organizing the program. In fact, they went to other villages where they welcomed Christians back to Hinduism and personally invited them to attend the Ghar Waapasi program. I mentioned that I was delighted to welcome these twelve Christian families back to Hinduism. I spoke about the richness of our Hinduism, the meaning of our traditions and customs, how we believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbam, and why we should promote tolerance and patience. If humanity has to live in peace, Hinduism is the only faith to follow.

Sri Gopi Swamy talked about the greatness of Hinduism, its tolerance, its Vasudaiva Kutumbam concert, and its ahimsa philosophy. Everybody was given theertham and prasadam.  Anna daana was conducted and every Hindu who came to witness the Ghar Waapasi program was served food. The event was attended by about 120 Hindu relatives.
They also distributed a 52-page book that contains the comparison between Bhagavad Gita and Bible. They showed passages from the Bible verses that show the statements about incest where it says one can sleep with a mother father and close relatives. Many passages in the Bible are an insult to humanity. It makes people to be slaves. It even justified the slavery enabling the Property Owners to bring Africans from Africa and making them slaves with no rights. They could kill them even for a single mistake since the Property Owners consider them as their property. Many Christian scholars and the former Presidents of the USA also criticized the brutality, violence, incest, cruelty, and extramarital relations. Friedrich Nietzsche said that Christianity is the single great curse, the single great innermost depravity, the single great instinct of revenge, for which no means is poisonous, secretive, subterranean, small enough--I call it mankind's single immortal blemish.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed twenty people so far. With more people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.
