Herbert Wells (1846-1946)*

"How many generations are going to face atrocities and murders until Hinduism is well understood? But the world will one day be inspired by Hindutva.  Only on that day will the world become a place for humans to settle and live."

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to organize Ghar Waapasi programs in Chittoor District for the last year. Our GHHF Pracharak S V Velu is a very passionate and determined person who organizes a number of events to make people participate in religious events.  Our Associate is acquainted with enough knowledge to compare and contrast Hinduism and Christianity. He went to several houses and talked about Hinduism. He mentioned that they may have missed the path due to a variety of reasons and they really belong to the Hindu Dharma and not the foreign religion – Christianity.

Sri Rama Navami Celebrated; Annadanam Served

Rama Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Rama who was born to King Dasaratha and Queen Kaushalya. It is celebrated in the month of Chaitra masa. Many Temples are constructed in honor of Lord Rama along with Sita Devi, Lakshmana, and Hanuman. On this day Pujas are conducted to celebrate the birth of Lord Rama. Many Temples also conduct Sita Rama Kalyanam. Rama is known as Maryada Purusha.

Lord Rama was the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu to establish Dharma and vanquish adharma. With his adherence to Dharma, he set an example for everyone to follow. He is principled, stood for righteousness, compassionate, and devoid of hatred and greed. Pujas are conducted praying for the general welfare (Loka Kalyanam), peace, wealth, and success in life.

The purpose of this Avatara is to destroy evil and restore righteousness in the society. He has killed Ramana who represented evil behavior to reestablish dharma.

When Valmiki asked the Sage Narada as to who possessed the knowledge of all three worlds, Narada said:

"Listen! I shall duly consider and tell you of such a hero. Be pleased to hear from me of the man endowed with the many and rare virtues and qualities mentioned by you.

There is one born in the line of Ikshvaku and known by men by the name of Rama. He has fully controlled his mind, is very powerful, radiant, and resolute, and has brought his senses under control. He is intelligent, sagacious, eloquent, glorious and an exterminator of foes. He is distinguished with broad shoulders, powerful arms, a neck shaped like a conch, and a stout chin.”

Annadanam Served

GHHF provided meals for more than 300 people on Rama Navami day. It is a tradition for Hindus to serve meals on many festival days.

Other activities he conducted on a regular basis:

1)     Pracharak Velu talked to a number of people in the Janakarapalli Gardens area where many Christians reside. They took Meal Prasadam, distributed meals, our literature, and talked about the Bible.
2)     He goes to a Primary government hospital and is stationed in the premises of Sri Ganapathi Devalayam to serve the meals for the visitors of the Hospital patients. Our people sat with the family members who came to the hospital and read out what is written in the Bible and how much they allow incest, extramarital affairs, and child abuse.
3)     He distributed a four-page flyer and 52-page book comparing the verses from Bible and Bhagavad Gita.
4)     Our Pracharak talked to Hindus whose family members or friends were in the hospital and informed them about the deceptive practices the nurses and some doctors employ to convert the patients.

As we know, Christians are concentrating on the sacred places to convert as many people as possible to impact the size of the Hindu population. Kanipakam is one of the sacred places close to Chittoor town. Similarly, many Christians are concentrating in and around Tirupati, the most sacred place of Lord Venkateswara Temple.

Wherever the Christians went, they depleted the resources of their host country. As we all know that Christians own more land in India only after the government. They keep grabbing Temple lands with no recourse and also buy the lands to have complete control over the distribution of the land to those who convert to Christianity to make India a Christian nation. This is what Desmond Tutu was talking about.

Unfortunately, many Hindus do not know much about their religion, let alone Christianity. When our Associates were talking about what is in the Bible they were surprised. Of course, they could not read either of the faiths. They realized how the Christian pastors distorted Hinduism and how they glorified Christianity.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 26 Pracharaks so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.

1) Donate any amount to help the Dharma Pracharaks to work at the ground level.

2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored Assistants.
