GHHF Ghar Waapasi in Guntur Rural Mandal 95 Families returned to Hinduism
Mark Juergensmeyer: Christianity—like most traditions—has always had a violent side. The bloody history of the tradition has provided disturbing images and violent conflict is vividly portrayed in the Bible. This history and these biblical images have provided the raw material for theologically justifying the violence of contemporary Christian groups.”
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) is incredibly happy to organize the Ghar Waapasi program in Guntur Rural Mandal Our Associate Srinivas went to Dalit Community and working very closely going around the area and was able to welcome back 95 families – about 300 people. These families who returned to Hinduism were given literature explaining the difference between Hinduism and Christianity.
As Mark Juergensmeyer mentioned that Christianity has a violent and dark side. It is a terrible religion. In fact, the Bible vividly described the atrocities, killings, dashing the children against the wall, and stoning to death if you disobey. Even if you have performed your duty as per your customs, the Bible encourages wiping out the whole nation. They were persecuted and tortured unto death. Bible is full of fabrications, contradictions, revengeful and atrocious.
Even some Christian Pastors came to the site where our Associate is talking to the Christians to returned to their ancestral religion and protested and asked our Associate to stop it. Generally, these pastors argue with Hindus and file a case using the Atrocities Act. Srinivas being a Dalit these Pastors could not do anything and left without too many arguments. In India, Christians and Muslims have more rights, and Hindus are denied the rights the other two religions enjoy.
We welcomed these 95 families with Upper Garment for me, blouse piece for women, Rama Parivar Photo, Sticker with Ram, Kumkum Bharani, Hanuman flag, and other items. They are all packed in a plastic bag. Also, they were given a pocketbook containing the verses from Bible and Bhagavad Gita.
GHHF is committed to engaging in Ghar Waapasi by giving utmost importance to welcome the converted Christians back to Hindus who may have drifted away for different reasons without full comprehension. This is the only way to bring back those who took the wrong path for different reasons.
