GHHF Ghar Waapasi Jillepalli Village in Guntur District – 45 Christian families retuned to Hindu Dharma amid chanting of Vedic Mantras
The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) is incredibly happy to organize the Ghar Waapasi program in Jillepalli Village in Nagaram Mandalam near Repalli in Guntur District. Our Pracharak D. Srinivas and his associates were going to different villages to meet Dalit community residents. They met so many families and have been talking to them about Hindu Dharma and the Bible God. They read out some of the passages in the Bible to make them aware of the incest, brutality, extra sexual relations, stoning to dear and breaking Hindu Gods. Several Christian families were more receptive since they can see what is written in the Bible. They spent a lot of time talking to them and were able to convince these Christian families to return to the richness of Sanatana Dharma.
Since we Hindus do not approach them to visit the Temples or ask them to practice Dharma, the Christian Missionaries had all the opportunity to talk to them and denounce the Hindu way of life and Hindu Gods and were successful in converting many of these people. Since some of them were converted through deception and anti-Hindu statements, now they are opening up to the Hindu scriptures – especially Bhagavad Gita.
Srinivas and his associates planned a big Ghar Waapasi program with 45 Christian families (approximately 125 members) who live in villages in and around Jillepalli and conducted in Sri Venkateswara Temple by installing tents. Homa was performed for more than two hours where every member was allowed to offer Ahuti to Agni (Fire GOD) as a symbol of purification and cleansing of the body and mind. All of them took a pledge to remain as Hindus and committed to following Hindu Dharma. They were honored with Sarees, Dhotis, God’s Picture for them to put in the Puja room, Kumkum and Turmeric, Kumkum Bharani, the Hanuman flag, tied Raksha to the wrist of the returning members and similar items. All of them were provided meals for the occasion. More than 200 people attended the function.
Our Pracharaks have been talking about the differences between Bible and Bhagavad Gita. How many scholars all across the globe read the timeless Bhagavad Gita. During World War II, under the leadership of Oppenheimer US government started the Manhattan Project which produced the first nuclear weapon. He is recognized as the “father of the atomic bomb.” Developing the atomic bomb was considered his dharma - duty as described in Bhagavad Gita.
“We knew the world would not be the same,” Oppenheimer remembered in 1965. “A few people laughed; a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade Prince Arjun that he should do his duty and, to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, ‘Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'”
For the overwhelming majority of the Pastors, the church is a business where they squeeze 10 percent of the money from the congregation members. They threaten them with curses if they do not pay the amount. Many priests or pastors are cheats and exploit them. Their livelihood depends on the number of conversions. They go to any extent to lie, cheat, and falsify our Hindu scriptures. It is a terrible religion. In fact, the Bible vividly described the atrocities, killings, dashing the children against the wall, and stoning to death if you disobey. Even if you have performed your duty as per your customs, the Bible encourages wiping out the whole nation. They were persecuted and tortured unto death. Bible is full of fabrications, contradictions, revengeful and atrocious.
GHHF is committed to engaging in Ghar Waapasi by giving utmost importance to welcome the converted Christians back to Hindus who may have drifted away for different reasons without full comprehension. This is the only way to bring back those who took the wrong path for different reasons.
