“The strength of Hinduism lies in its infinite adaptability to the infinite diversity of human character and human tendencies. It has its highly spiritual and abstract side suited to the philosopher, its practical to the man of the world, its aesthetic and ceremonial side attuned to the man of the poetic feeling and imagination; and its quiescent contemplative aspect that has its appeal for the man of peace and the lover of seclusion.” Sir Monier Monier-Williams

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very to organize a Ghar Waapasi Program near Jaggayyapeta. We are very fortunate to come in contact wit Mary Suresh Iyer who recently converted to Hinduism. Her parents became Christians when she was very young. She practiced Christianity for a number of years. She now lives in USA. She has many presentations of her returning to Hinduism on YouTube. Shiva Shakti and Infinity foundation and other organizations interviewed her.

She built Devi Temple in her villagers about two years ago. She requested our Ghar Waapasi Associate Laxmi Nivas, who works from Hyderabad, to come and talk to the villagers.  More than 70 people came participated in the Temple function. About 25 are Christians. We tied raksha to all those who came to the function. We also honored about 30 families with a packet containing blouse piece, upper garment for  men, Kumkum, Turmeric, God’s Picture, Hanuman flag and other items.

Laxmi Nivas is planning to go back to the village and talk to them one on one and also organize Maha Yagnam. Many of them were lured to other faiths for some inducements, fear and allurements. Also,  Hindu inactivity in the villages also contributes to this predicament.

REQUEST: If you would like to organize Ghar Waapasi program in your village, please contact me at 601-918-711 (Prakasa Rao).
