GHHF Ghar Waapasi near Tirupati – Welcomed 25 Christians back to Hindu Dharma.
Yann Martel (1963 - ) a Canadian who won the Booker Prize for Life of Pi says:
'India is all lives in one place, India is all emotions in one place. It is an extraordinary, dazzling place, it's all the wonder and horror of life …There are stories that can be told only in India. There are things that are possible in India that are not possible anywhere else.'' ''It's a country that dazzles me because it is all of life. I truly think that in some ways, India is the richest place on earth.''
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has organized the Ghar Waapasi program in many Mandalas near Tirupati. Our Associates K. Reddappa, K. Subbanna, and Rosaiah have been actively involved in visiting a number of villages in various villages and Mandalas in Chittoor District. They talked to the Hindus in the village about our efforts to welcome back to the Hindu field those who converted to Christianity and sought input from Hindu activists.
Welcomed 25 Christians back to Hindu Dharma
As we all know that our Pracharaks are required to go to one village a day and spend about 6-7 hours every day for six days a week. They usually spend 2-3 hours in the Hindu community and talked to the elders and the activists about the differences between Hinduism and Christianity. They share a 52-page book that listed about seventy-five verses from the Bible that contain so nasty, outrageous, insulting, and hateful statements that even Christians would be shocked and amazed. Then they go to the Christian families and slowly talk about the differences in terms of patience, respect for parents, and morality.
From Allamadugu Harijana Wada from Veduru Kuppam Mandal, our Pracharaks welcomed and recognized 25 Christians back to Sanatana Dharma. Fifteen women, ten males, and five children returned to Hindu Dharmam. This function was attended by about 70 villagers and witnessed this auspicious occasion. Sri Reddappa was invited as a Special guest who spoke about the greatness of Hindu Dharma and how it will enable society to function as a peaceful and human entity.
As we mentioned that our mission is twofold: one is how to stop the conversion and the second is how to bring those Christians back to Hinduism They distributed a 4-page document containing the rights of Hindus to encounter Christians and how to stop the construction of illegal churches.
Our Pracharaks talked about the status of women in Christianity. In Hinduism, women are respected and honored. In fact, a mother is considered the first guru for her children. We say Matru Devo bhava. In Hindu scriptures, we find women as Goddesses and worship all of them. We have Lakshmi Devi, Saraswati Devi, and Parvati Devi – the wives of the trinity. We worship them and seek their blessings. Whereas in Christianity there is no concept of Divinity in women. There are no women goddesses. In fact, women are given any recognition in the Bible. They cannot even ask any questions. They have to be silent in the church. They are only subservient to their husbands. If they have any doubts, they only have to ask their husbands and get their queries answered.
The Dharma concept plays a vital role in conducting our way of life. It is everybody’s dharma to perform their activities. Every position in society is valued. Our responsibility is to fight in order to remove adharma. Wherever there is adharma, dharma has to be enforced even if it means waging a war. Inaction is not an option for anyone who upholds the concept of dharma. Arjuna decided not to wage war against his fellow cousin brothers, his Gurus, Bhishma Charya, and otherkin and kith. He was stuck with an amoral conundrum and totally confused about his dharma. He seeks Bhagawan Krishna’s advice. Krishna says that in order to protect humanity from adharma, he has to do what dharma dictates. Bhagawan Krishna says, “Nothing is higher than a war against evil. A warrior such as you should be pleased with such a war, as it leads to heaven Krishna‘s discourses are described in the eighteen chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. At the end of his discourses, Krishna successfully convinces Arjuna to fight the battle of Kurukshetra only to eliminate adharma – evil, unrighteousness, deception, and cruelty. As Thomas Paine stated the Bible teaches us to rape and be cruel.
They distributed a 52-page small book and explained the most immoral and indecent statements from the Bible. In Bible, Jesus says that one should not love the world.
Leviticus 26:16
I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over your terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:22
The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew; these will pursue you until you perish.
1 Samuel 2:33
And every one of you that I do not cut off from My altar, your eyes will fail, and your heart will grieve. All your descendants will die by the sword of men.
While talking to the Hindus, our Pracharaks highlighted the most preposterous statements with regard to incest and sexual promiscuity in the Bible. They read out some verses from Bible and read aloud to sow a few seeds of doubt about what they call the holy Bible.
As many of you are aware that the Christians are moving into the sacred city of Tirupati and its periphery in the Chittoor District. They are planning to start converting within a radius of 50 kilometers. Christians are moving into this area to convert as many people as possible to make Tirupati a sacrilegious place instead of keeping it as a sacred place.
Although many Hindu activists are doing many things, their efforts have not infiltrated into the villages where the conversion is taking place on a large scale. As Hindus concentrate on their intellectual endeavors, Christians are concentrating on conversion. It is time for all the intellectuals and activists to pause for a few minutes and look at the ground realities. Our intellectual endeavors and activists’ protests are not reaching the villages where conversion is rampant. We cannot ignore or turn away from what is happening on the ground.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 20 Pracharaks working at the ground level. More people we hire more villages can cover to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.
1) Donate any amount to help the Dharma Pracharaks to work at the ground level.
2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored Assistants.
