[GHHF] Hanuman Chalisa Coloring & Tracing Book, composed by Sri Krishna Kurapati, was released by Children in Frisco
The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation was extremely happy to honor Sri Krishna Kurapati for designing a coloring book for children that features 40 illustrations aligned with the verses. He meticulously designed it to ensure the children can color the picture and read each of the 40 verses as they paint. Learn while drawing.
About 15 children who attended the program read the book and colored on the spot. He arranged coloring boxes for the children to start coloring.
Krishna explained the reasons for designing the book as follows:
“The Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most beloved devotional poems, recited by people across India—transcending language, region, and culture. It has become a true pan-Indian prayer that unites hearts in devotion.
For today’s children growing up amid screens and constant digital stimulation, there is a need to return to tactile, mindful, and creative forms of learning. Our goal is to make learning the Hanuman Chalisa a playful and calming experience—one that engages their hands, hearts, and minds.
We also believe it’s important for children to connect with their mother tongue at an early age. When they trace and color the sacred verses of the Hanuman Chalisa in their native script, they not only learn the language but also develop a deeper connection to Dharma and our cultural roots.
With these thoughts in mind, we humbly present the Hanuman Chalisa Coloring and Tracing Book.
Our first editions are available in Telugu (my mother tongue) and Hindi (the mother tongue of many). We plan to release more editions soon in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Oriya, Marathi, Gujarati, and other languages based on your requests and feedback.
