Guntur, Andhra Pradesh: The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) is relentlessly working towards community service and the protection of Hindu Dharma. As part of these efforts, GHHF donated a sound system (mic set) and provided financial assistance of ₹10,000/- to the Sri Maha Lakshamma Temple in Anand Pet Relli Colony, Guntur town. This initiative is not merely a physical aid but also a testament to the social and spiritual awakening in the area.

The Relli community in Anand Pet Relli Colony belongs to the Scheduled Castes (SC) social group. They are hardworking people, largely from economically backward families. Exploiting these vulnerabilities, some Christian pastors intensely tried to convert them, even establishing churches in the area. Moreover, due to the high Muslim population in Anand Pet, the Relli community also faced severe discrimination and attacks from the Muslim community.

In these challenging circumstances, under the guidance of GHHF National General Secretary Rajesh, and with the cooperation of Sri Eshwar Garu, numerous service programs were undertaken. These include establishing Bala Samskar Kendras , providing pushcarts to economically backward families to improve their livelihoods, and organizing various cultural programs centered around the temple. As a result of these efforts, some individuals who had converted to other faiths have returned to Hindu Dharma. Thus, the area has transformed into a strong Hindu power center.

During the donation of the sound system and financial aid to the Sri Maha Lakshamma Temple, the local families approached GHHF with another request. Some youths from Relli Colony perform traditional drum (Teenmar) music. They requested support to provide them with musical instruments, which would enable them to form a group and improve their livelihoods. They stated that this would provide a livelihood for 5 to 7 families. The estimated cost for these instruments is approximately ₹30,000/-. GHHF believes that if donors come forward, this can provide a better livelihood for these poor SC Hindu families.

Similarly, many small temples are also requesting sound systems. GHHF states that if donors come forward for this noble cause, sound systems can be provided to those temples in their name. Your generous support will contribute to more successes in this Yagna of Dharma protection.
