Mark Twain (November 30, 1835 - April 21, 1910), American author said:
"So far as I am able to judge, nothing has been left undone, either by man or nature, to make India the most extraordinary country that the sun visits on his rounds. Nothing seems to have been forgotten, nothing overlooked. India had the start of the whole world in the beginning of things. She had the first civilization; she had the first accumulation of material wealth; she was populous with deep thinkers and subtle intellects; she had mines, and woods, and a fruitful soul.”
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform you that Sri Gopi Chary Garu and his associates have been conducting Ghar Waapasi in Anantapur District. They visit each house and distribute the flyers and talk about the richness of Hinduism and why they should return to their original religion. They have taken all precautions required during this pandemic.
Under the guidance of Sri Gopi Chary, three Pracharaks have been going to villages with a mission to highlight the richness of Sanatana Dharma. They are going to the Christian families and giving information about the differences between Christianity and Hinduism. They are sharing the 4-page document about the rights of Hindus and how to encounter Christian aggression.
GHHF Sponsored and Built Shiva Temple
The residents of Konakondla village in the Vajrakaroor Mandalam are in a possession of a beautiful Shiva linga without having proper Temple to install and perform pujas and Abhishekam regularly. More than 200 families live in this village. There are many Christians also live there. But still they used to worship Shiva. They have been looking for some organization or individual to come forward and help built this temple in Dalit Community. Sri Gopi Krishna Chary, one of our Pracharaks and other Pracharaks came to know about the existence of Shiva Lingam, rushed to the village and talked to them in January 2022.
The villagers approached many organizations including Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam,  Samarasatha Foundation and other organizations to help build the Temple.  One of the GHHF Board member talked to Sri Gopi Chary and pledged to complete the construction and install Shiva Linga.
GHHF organization immediately identify the lingam, inspected it, and amazed at the size and the beaty of the Shiva Linga. This Shiva Linga is believed to be about 600 years old.   GHHF promised to provide a sanctum sanctorum for the lingam, as well as the management role of the Dalits in the village. GHHF agreed to sponsor the project and built the Temple  at a cost of 3,5 lakh rupees. We want to thank the donor for his generous support on behalf of GHHF/Savetemples.
On February 25, 2022, Shiva Lingam was installed and Prana Prathishta was done as per our scriptures. Every person in Dalit Community participated in the ceremony, tied Diksha to their wrists and wore Kankanam, took theertham and were engrossed in the ceremony. The Prana Prathishta evet started at 4:00am and continued until 2:00Pm followed by Annadanam to all the villagers.
At the request of the villagers to have the Temple completed before Maha Shivaratri,  Save Temples decided to build the Garbhagudi and perform poojas for the Shiva lingam in the temple. On Prana Prathishta day,  Ganapati puja,  Homa, Rudra Homa, etc. and finally the Maha Purnahuti ceremony was held in the same village.
MLC Shiva Ramireddy was invited as the Chief Guest and the Maha purnahuti program was a success.
MLC Shiva Ramireddy told the people that from now on, every family in Dalit Vada should come to the temple and chant the Panchakshari mantra “Om Namah Sivaya” 108 times a day for better life.
The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation & Save Temples built and commissioned the temple in just 24 days. Villagers were happy and expressed their indebtedness to them for organizing such a grand event. Their dream of having Shivalaya before Maha Shivaratri came true. Now Shivaratri festival will be held in their village on the day of Shivaratri day after so many centuries.
Devotees who came recited tribal names and were blessed with protective bracelets.
Finally, Tirtha Prasadam was performed for about 250 devotees, and the Annadana program was successfully completed.
