To all members of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF), as you all are well aware of our activities like Ghar Waapasi, Bala Samskar centers, Gramadevthas, dharma pracharam, safeguarding temples, prevent the encroachment of temple lands, stopping illegal missionary activities etc. In addition, GHHF is planning to organize a campaigning program at Bhadrachalam on the occasion of Srirama Navami and Srirama Pattabhishekam on March30 and 31st.
    Lakhs of pilgrims are expected during these days, so GHHF is planning to offer buttermilk, paanakam (sweet water), vada-pappu, pamphlets about our activities and how a Hindu must respond to save our dharma and others. Our volunteers are going to explain public about our efforts and how people can involve with GHHF to further expand our activities.
    GHHF is welcoming those who are planning to involve, volunteer, contribute or suggest other activities. We are providing accommodation too for limited members.

Importance of Sri Rama Pattabhishekam
Devotees throng Bhadrachalam to witness Sri Rama Pattabhishekam to witness tow unique things:
1)    Mutyala Talambralu (Yellow rice mixed with pearls) are used in the celebration of Sri Rama Kalyanam. 
The practice was started by Tanishah of the Qutb Shahi kingdom in the 17th Century. After two persons who identified themselves as Ramoji and Laxmoji repaid the debt of Kancherla Gopanna, popularly known as Ramadas, Tanishah became an admirer of Lord Rama. Ever since that day, he earmarked the income from the Palawoncha Paragana, which came to about Rs. 20,000, a huge amount those days, for the maintenance of the temple. This was continued throughout the Qutb Shahi reign. Both items were sent to Bhadrachalam as a tradition on the Sri Rama Navami day through a special emissary.
Of late, the tradition became a popular practice with well-to-do devotees taking it up at smaller shrines. But a Minister offering them at the same muhurtam in a smaller shrine has given it special significance.
2)    Goti Talambralu (peeling paddy using fingers). The tradition of offering akshithalu to Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy and Goddess Sita in Bhadrachalam during their celestial wedding is spreading fast.
Offering of Goti Talambralu commenced at the temple 18 years ago when about 100 devotees belonging to Srirama Adhyathmika Samstha, Jangareddygudem, first offered 36 kg of these Talambralu. The quantity of Goti Talambralu may cross 600 kg this year.
Krishna Chaitanya Sangham of Korukonda in East Godavari district became famous for offering Goti Talambralu. Members of the Korukonda team submit paddy seeds first to the footsteps of Lord Rama. They then take bath and peel seeds with their hands. These are then offered to Lord Rama and his consort Sita with great devotion.
Bhadradri temple Vedic pundit Lingala Ramakrishna Avadhani noticed the immense devotion of these devotees in 2011. He took this to the notice of then temple executive officer Chandrasekhara Azad. From then onwards, officials have been providing accommodation and serving food to such devotees.
The concept of Goti Talambralu has now been adopted by devotees in Bhuapalapalli, Manuguru, Pinapaka, Paloncha, Hyderabad and other places.
Ramakrishna Avadhani said, “A lone ardent woman devotee from Hyderabad has offered 60 kg of Goti Talambralu for the divine wedding. She took 45 days to peel such a huge quantity of paddy seeds,” he pointed out.
It is believed problems of devotees are solved when they offer Goti Talambralu and participate in the yagnam at the Bhadrachalam temple.
