Rev. Jabez T. Sunderland (1842-1936)
“India has produced great literature, great arts, great philosophical systems, great religions, and great men in every department of life - rulers, statesmen, financiers, scholars, poets, generals, colonizers, ship-builders, skilled artisans and craftsmen of every kind, agriculturists, industrial organizers and leaders in far-reaching trade and commerce by land and sea.”
1.    Returned to Dallas; Visited Assam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka; Skipped Andhra for possible security threat. Summary of our Activities in Bharat.(Feb 10)

I went to Bharath with a mission to meet as many Ghar Waapasi Pracharaks as possible, talk to them and find out about their efforts, problems they face and the resistance they encounter on the ground level, the techniques they use to talk to the Christians and how they address the queries of converted Christians. Planned to visit all five States – Assam, Telangana, Andhra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
Reached Bharath in the middle of December 2022 to visit  all five States where Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is conducting Ghar Waapasi, organizing 175 Bala Samskar Kendras and renovation Grama Devatas.
ANDHRA PRADESH: I skipped visiting all the locations where we have organizing various activities in Andhra on the advice of our friends who are aware of what happened in Frisco and Dallas, the demonstrations, vigils and false accusations. Shameless distortion of the facts, deliberate attempt to smear the reputation of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation,  and blatant attempt to falsify our mission ignited the Andhra Pastors and Churches. They have been discussing unashamedly almost every Sunday about how GHHF is demanding the demolition of all Churches. They never say anything about “ILLEGALLY BUILT.”
Based on the advice of our friends and others who are knowledgeable about Intelligence Department, we decided to skip visiting Andhra.

lobal Hindu Heritage is very happy to inform that we started about 175 Bala Samskar Kendras in five States in India – Assam, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu - to teach about the richness of Hinduism, Hindu festivals, Hindu ethos, Hindu History, and culture and traditions. Sri Samrat Dutt is a very active member in the community championing the Hindu Values not only to the children but also actively involved in making the Hindus proud of their culture.
Now we started 3  Bala Samskar Kendras in Bangladesh also.
Teach Surya Namaskar
Our students are required to learn and practice Surya namaskar ant its benefits. In Sanskrit, Surya means sun and namaskar means greeting or salutation. Surya Namaskar is then a greeting to the sun! It is an ancient ritual of twelve steps that warms up the body preparing it for yoga practice. That is why it is practiced at the beginning of a yoga class. This warming sequence has a rich history and holistic benefits for the body and mind. Read more to find out about this widely known and ancient yoga practice!

3.    Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned about the life of Sant Ravidas, his miracles and his teachings. (Feb 6)
THIS WEEK, Sant Ravidas Jayanti is CELBRATED BY OUR Bala Samskar Kendras. The birthday of Guru Ravidas, celebrated on Magha Purnima, the full moon day in the month of Magha month. It is the annual focal point for the Ravidas’ religion. People across countries celebrate this special occasion in India. Also, devotees take a holy dip in the river to perform rites. The 2023 date for the Jayanti was February 5 on Magha Purnima.
Ravidas Jayanti marks the birth of Ravidas Ji. Ravidas Ji is well-known for making efforts in eradicating the caste system. He has also contributed to the Bhakti movement and is well-recognized as a good friend and disciple of Kabir Ji. Mirabai was his disciple.
His parents were cobblers and belonged to the “Chamar Community” and were considered untouchables then. He has taken up his family profession, but majority of his time was spent in listening to spiritual discourses of saints at banks of river Ganges. Being constantly in the company of saints, he too started writing mystic poems. His literary work is included in Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji of Sikhs and Panchvani of Dadu Panthis. Forty-one of his mystic poems are included in the Sacred Book-Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji of the Sikh community.
Who Was the Guru of Saint Ravidas? Initially, Sant Ravidas took Naam Diksha (initiation) from Ramanand who a follower of Supreme Almighty Kabir Saheb Ji was. Being spiritually inclined, sage Ravidas got deeply engrossed in the way of worship given by Ramanand. Later on God Kabir Saheb gave him initiation and enlightened him about the existence of the True Almighty and the correct way of worship to be adopted to attain Him.

4.    Sahasra Chandra Darshana celebrations concluded on 5th Day. (Feb 5)
A number of Homas including Pavamana Homa, Aayush Homa, pujas, chanting of various shanti mantras and other rituals were conducted. Also Sri Swamiji and Sri Bala Swamiji performed Venkateshwara and Hanuman Abhishekams.
Every morning Sri Swamiji fed the cow with fruits and vegetables and offered purnahuti to several Homas.
Yesterday, he gave a very powerful speech on visiting the temple and what happens when we enter the temple and how wishes are conveyed.
What is Sahasra Chandra Darshana Mahotsavam.
In general, whoever completes 80 years and four months is supposed to have experienced the moonlight of Chandra.
In South, especially in Tamil Nadu, this function is very popular. It is customary for people to have a darshan of the person who celebrated Sahasra Chandra Darshan and it is believed that the witnessed reap many benefits and get the blessings.
Nobody has to invite to this function. Anybody can go and receive the blessings

5.    Ghar Waapasi in Anantapur and Madanapalli in AP– Promoting and Conducting Bhajans and talked about the importance of Satsang to create Hindu Unity. (Feb 4)
Sri Gopi Chary and Sri Gopal organized Bhajan sessions in the Temples in these two towns.  Majority of the people living in the village are Dalits and about half Christians. Through the GHHF, few Christian families returned to Hinduism. It was decided that we organize these Bhajans in the village to reinforce the faith among Hindu Dalits and at the same invite Christian families as well as ex-Christians.
Before the Bhajan session started, our Coordinators asked ever body to do Sankalp by saying their names, Gotras and nakshatras; and the reason the puja is being conducted. He explained the importance of Bhajans.
Hindu scriptures states that in Kaliyuga, people have disturbed mind, experience restlessness and lack peace of mind. They live in an environment where their mind gets agitated . By chanting the names of Bhagavan, one gets peace of mind as they concentrate on the image of Goddess. Devotional singing, known as bhajans or kirtan, can help to quiet the mind so that the heart can open to the divine, allowing us to taste the blissful reality that is our true nature. Everyone is encouraged to sing and express their inner joy. Devotion is the most important aspect of kirtan. To gain concentration in this age of materialism, bhajan is easier than meditation. By loud singing, other distracting sounds will be overcome and concentration will be achieved. Bhajan, concentration and meditation, this is the progression. Bhajan is important for the devotee because it is intimate and free in expression. Bhajan preserves India’s rich legacy of devotion, wisdom and mysticism from saints like Mirabai, Tulsidas, Kabir, Surdas, Thyagaraja, Purandaradasa, Tukaram, Namdev, and many, many others.

6.    Ghar Waapasi in Alluri Seetharamaraju District in AP – 48 Families Returned to Hindu Dharma (Feb 2)
48 Christian families returned to Hindu Dharma with hard work
48 Christian families from Sundruputtu village in the agency area returned to Hinduism.  Sri Swamiji team has been working hard for over a year to convince them to return to Sanatana Dharma.  All 46 families and 2 Priest families left their Christian faith after extensive discussions and finally agree and participated in Pujas and Homas. They have taken a vow to remain Hindus. They have been chanting Rama Nama and Hanuman Nama very frequently.
Sri Swamiji has been visiting this village for several months. Sri Sai Datta Manasa Swami performed Puja inviting these 44 Christians back to Hinduism. He asked their name individually and asked them whether they will go to Church or Devalayam. Each one said they will only go to the Temple, not the Church. He asked them to be on guard about the deceptive techniques Christians use to entrap them. He said that they have no business coming to the villages without approval. He said if somebody comes to our house, don’t you think they will tell us who they are and why they come. If they are coming to convert our Hindus, we should drive them away. We should not even allow them to talk about their religion. For the sake of our culture, and our children, we should practice our customs. All of them said they would protect Sanatana Dharma and would resist Christian aggression.

We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 26 people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers. Also,  we are conducting 150 Bala Kendras in five States. Support one or more Kendras.
1) Sponsor one Bala Samskar Kendra for $1000.00
2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 - $3500.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored 9 Pracharaks
