“Hinduism offers solace and hope, a belief that present troubles are the wages of a former lifes sins, that the future may be mitigated by unselfish and dedicated actions. And, if these actions are truly altruistic and not performed for the satisfaction of ego or conscience, they may lead to a form of liberation. This serene state may also be achieved through various pilgrimages, worship and meditation.”

1. Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned about Annamayya, Composer of 32,000 songs on Lord Venkateshwara of Tirupati (3/20)

Tallapaka Annamacharya (1408-1503), popularly known as Annamayya, was a 15th-century Hindu saint and the earliest known Indian musician to compose songs called sankirtanas in praise of the Venkateshwara, a form of Lord Vishnu. The musical form of the keertana songs that he composed, which are still popular among Carnatic music concert artists, have strongly influenced the structure of Carnatic music compositions. Annamacharya is remembered for his saintly life and is honored as a great devotee of Shree Vishnu by devotees and saintly singers.

2. Open Letter to Hindu Temples in USA to Protect Hindu Edifice in Bharat to make it a Hindu Nation. (3/21)

On behalf of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, I write this letter with heavy heart concerning the plight of Hindu Dharma in Bharath and the awaiting bleak future. If we Hindus set our mind and determined to protect our motherland with passion, Hindu Temples in USA can make some difference by lighting the candle to dispel the fast-gathering dark clouds.

Bhagat Singh, one of the revolutionaries who was a part of the freedom movement for Indian independence, was martyred at a very young age. He, therefore, became a role model to many youngsters and leaders to gather the courage to fight, to take actions against injustices and to voice out all that needs to be heard. ‘Inquilab Zindabad’, is one of the most popular slogans of Bhagat Singh.

Drawing Bhagat Singh Picture- One of the teachers, Hema, has conducted the class encouraging children draw the image Bhagavat Sing, the revolutionary who died for the sake of Bharata Mata.

While random drawing can help hone your focus, drawing specific items or ideas can help you remember them better. In another study cited in an article on Inc.com, participants were asked to either write or draw words from a list. Those who drew the words had a higher retention rate than those who wrote down the words.
