Dear Friends and Supporters,
With your generous support, we have been able to send approximately Rs. 500,000 ($5, 325; and will send more as we get funds) so far for the care and rehabilitation of the 112+ underage girls recently rescued from trafficking in Jharkhand.
We wanted to share a brief update, so every donor knows that the funds received are being used immediately and responsibly to meet these girls' most urgent needs during this difficult transition period.
So far, your donations have helped provide:

Clothing: Two fresh sets of clothes have been secured for all 100+ rescued girls, helping restore a sense of dignity and basic comfort.

Blankets and Bedding: One blanket has been provided for each girl, and about 60 bedding sets have been purchased for their temporary accommodation.

Medical Care: Medical expenses have been covered for girls who needed immediate treatment.

Mental Health Support: Medical counseling has started for some of the girls who need emotional and psychological healing after the trauma they have endured.

Efforts for Reunion with their Families: The team has put volunteers to contact/visit and evaluate the families to plan their return to their families. This is the most resource-intensive work as their safe return takes time. This phase of this work takes months and is sometimes the hardest.

These girls arrived with almost nothing, but thanks to your kindness, they now have clothing, bedding, medical care, and compassionate care. This is not just material support — it is a powerful message to them that they are not forgotten.
The road ahead is still long. Reuniting them safely with their families can take several months, and we still need continued support for food, shelter, medical care, counseling, rent, and daily necessities.
