“We ought therefore to suspect that a great mass of information respecting the Bible, and the introduction of it into the world, has been suppressed by the united tyranny of Church and State, for the purpose of keeping people in ignorance, and which ought to be known.”

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to welcome 280 Christians back to Hinduism.  We appreciate Sri Saidatta Manasa Swamy who has been working tirelessly to teach about the greatness of Hinduism and the history of Christianity such as when Christ was born, how many times Bible was changed, who was the author of Bible, the number of atrocities committed against other religions, the concept of motherhood, the logic behind worshipping Cross, and many such incidents. He believed that it is only with harmonious relations and accommodative behavior we will be able to approach the Christians and show them what is written in the Bible. Further, with the present government support to Christianization of Andhra,  the only viable and practical methods to convince them would be through peaceful methods.

He organized a huge gathering of these 280 members who returned to Hinduism with a number of activities. It is the fruit of 2-3 years of committed and passionate efforts to bring the Christians back to Hinduism. Let us narrate the undaunted efforts of Sri Swamiji so that we can understand what it takes to convince them to leave their faith and embrace Hinduism.

He came to know that intense pressure is exercised on Hindus to get converted to Christianity in three villages – Chodavaram, Vaddadi and Raavipatam. Immediately he started visiting these villages. By organizing Shobha Yatra and Kalasha Yatra, he went to many Christian houses inquiring about their welfare and their children’s education. Slowly he talked about the concept of Karma and Dharma by giving few examples of how some people are rich and others are poor. He traced the atrocities of Christianity across the world and the Goa Inquisition in India that were allowed as per the Bible. Hindus have always respected the elders in the family, mothers, fathers, and approach them with reverence. We always approach our mother as Talli, Amma, etc.; with so much reverence. Whereas in Bible, Jesus never mentioned Mary as a mother. He always referred to her as Mary rather than a mother.

He mentioned the eternal love a mother has toward her children in Hinduism. Similarly, all the Gods are embodiments of love, compassion, and affection. They never punished anybody for not believing in him. In contrast, in the Bible, you will see Jesus advocating hatred toward people who do not believe in him. He even says that he is “jealous God.” Hence, he condemned non-believers to eternal hell and also condemned them to eternal fire. God is supposed to represent love rather than violence. How can a God be so cruel to people who do not believe in him? That kind of treatment toward non-believers is done by Asuras (Rakshas, demons) not by God. Then Is Jesus God or a Demon?

He started organizing Satsangs, not by sitting at a highchair but sitting with them on the same level singing bhajans. Christians always criticize our God's images and saying anything that is made with human hands is deemed to be respectable. Then we can ask the question who made the cross and hung Jesus to it. That cross was made by the King of Israel. Then why do Christian’s respect Cross that is made with human hands and hang them all over the churches? That is the cross on which Jesus was killed. Why worship the cross as holy that witnessed the cruelty?

Whoever was willing to return Swamiji gave them Rama Pattabhishekam picture, Kumkum and turmeric, Sarees and or Dhoti, Hanuman flag, Hanuman pendant, bracelet, Akshatas, Rudrakshas, and other items. Then Swamiji convinced them to do Rama Nama Maha Japa Yagnam for not less than 21 days. The Japam name is  “Jaya Rama Taraka Maha Mantram.” After they performed this Japam, they participated in Rama Japa Yagnam and performed Rama Japa Vratha. He also distributed our pamphlets and 52-page book comparing the Bible and Bhagavad Gita. The children were given pocket-size Bhagavad Gita. Also, he convinced them to organize Bhajans and kirtans in nearby Hindu Temple. His tireless efforts yielded much anticipated great results. It is an extraordinary achievement to organize, convince and welcome 280 Christians back to Hinduism. GHHF applauds his diligent, persistent, and enthusiastic endeavors in this Ghar Waapasi.
