Shri B R Naidu Garu,
Chairman, TTD Trust Board

Subject: Kudos to TTD for barring 18 Non-Hindus from Temple activities; Please investigate the 14 additional names we provided in 2020.
Dear Shri B R Naidu Garu:
Om Namo Venkateshaya.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation congratulates B R Naidu for taking remedial action at TTD. This is a monumental effort to maintain sanctity and spirituality in Tirumala and Tirupati. We are also writing this letter to inform you about a matter of utmost importance regarding the huge presence of Christian employees working at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
GHHF also expresses its appreciation to Sri Chandrababu Naidu for his announcement that non-Hindus should not be allowed to work at TTD and other Hindu Temples.
As the Honorable Chairman of the TTD Trust Board, we urge you to take immediate action to investigate and address this issue. We will fully support you along with the global Hindu diaspora of over 35 million Hindus along with the GHHF executive team and volunteers.
Background
On December 23, 2019, we met and discussed with Sri Anil Kumar Shingal about the presence of 15-20 percent of Christians working at TTD. He never contested our numbers. He asked us to submit the names of Christians working at TTD and any organization funded by TTD. In February 2020, we submitted a list of suspected Christian employees working at TTD to Sri Shingalji. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response or see any action taken.
Later, on September 20, 2020, GHHF submitted a letter to Sri S V Subba Reddy, the then Chairman, listing 16 Christians working at BIRRD hospital alone. No response.
We want to congratulate you on recognizing two employees we submitted as suspected Christians and removing them from their positions. Thay are T. Kalyani and S. Rosi
We are now providing an additional list of 14 suspected Christian employees working in various departments at TTD.
List of Suspected Christian Employees
1 S. Vijayabharathy - head nurse
2. Stella Jayanthi -staff nurse
3. Chinnammal - staff nurse
4. Devakataakhsam - staff nurse
6. P. Gopi - Darkroom Assistant
7. Ramanamma. ANM.
8. Shobha Alexander
9. Anitha Prema Rajakumari.
10. Ms. Premavati — Central Hospital Pharmacist
11. Mr. Panneru Selvi – Attender, TTD Administration
12. Ms. Ramanamma — Bird Hospital Nurse
13. Thanneri Selvi - AEO
14. Ms. Vijaya Bharati — Bird Hospital, Head Nurse
Request for Investigation
We request that you investigate these employees to determine their religious affiliations. If found to be practicing Christians, we urge you to relieve them of their duties at TTD.
Concerns and Implications
If no action is taken, it may be perceived that the TTD is tolerating or even supporting the presence of Christian employees. This could lead to:
- Undermining the sanctity of the Lord Venkateswara Temple
- Insulting Hindus and demeaning Hindu customs
- Debasing Hindu Gods and offending Lord Venkateswara
- Rampant proselytization within TTD
- unprecedented pressure on Hindu employees to convert to Christianity daily.
Offer of Assistance
If you require assistance in investigating these employees, we offer to provide evidence of their Christian affiliations within one month.
Request for Response
We request a response within ten business days regarding the actions you take to address this issue. If we do not receive a response, we will assume that you are not willing to investigate and take the necessary actions.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
Sincerely,
Prakasarao Velagapudi PhD
