The purificatory ritual, Shanti Homam, was observed at Tirumala temple's Yagashala on Monday morning. The ritual aimed to ward off ill effects and restore the sanctity of Laddu Prasadams and other Naivedyams, ensuring the well-being of Srivari devotees.*
Key Highlights of the Ritual
- Performed as per Vaikhanasa Agama tenets
- Vastu Suddhi and Kumbhajala Samprokshana carried out by Ritwiks
- Sankalpam, Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, Vastu Homam, Kumbha Pratista, and Panchagavya Aradhana performed from 6 am to 10 am
- Purnahuti and Kumbha Prokshana followed by Visesha Naivedyam offering

TTD Executive Officer Sri J Syamala Rao and Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary stated ritual was sin-free, dispelling concerns about Laddu Prasadam and Naivedyams' quality. Hindu Devotees can now confidently partake in these offerings.

At 6 pm, Srivari devotees are encouraged to recite Kshama Mantras during Deeparadhana and chant:
