TTD – No accountability of the use of 850 crores of Sri Vani Trust Fund and no list of Temples they claimed to have funded is provided.
On June 23, 2023, news conference, Sri S V Subba Reddy and Sri Dharma Reddy accused people of their baseless charges against TTD. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) wanted to make sure that it would not falsely charge TTD with misuse or abuse of Sri Vani Funds. We have written a letter sent by Speed Post to the Chairman and Executive Officer to provide the list of Hindu Temples they have provided funds, also the list of dilapidated Temple they have renovated, and the Temples taken up by Endowment Department and Samarasata Seva Foundation.
GHHF decide to write this letter as Sri Subba Reddy and Dharma Reddy said that “any individual is at liberty to seek the details of the trust and utilization of its funds.” We have taken that opportunity to send this official request to receive the information we requested. Following is the letter sent on July 9, 2023

Dear Sri Subba Reddy Garu:
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to read in the newspapers about the white paper detailing the Sri Vani Trust Funds, how they are being used and requested concerned people to verify the facts before leveling baseless charges. GHHF is very happy to read about the mission of Sri Vani Trusts with the objective of supporting the restoration of dilapidated temples and construction of new ones. It is indeed a noble cause to renovate the dilapidated Temples and construct new ones to promote Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
This letter is being sent requesting you to provide information regarding the construction of various Temples in different States.
In the news conference on June 23, 2023, you mentioned since the inception of Sri Vani Trust until May 31 that TTD received more than 850 crores. You mentioned that Sri Dharma Reddy appealed to all to verify the facts and check the trust accounts and not to level baseless allegations against the TTD.
- So far, TTD has constructed 2,445 temples particularly in SC, ST and fishermen colonies with the funds received from the trust in both the Telugu States, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karnataka and extended financial grants to smaller temples in the conduct of daily rituals, besides aiding in the renovation of ancient temples.
- Can you provide the list of Temples that have been already constructed with the village names and the addresses?
TTD Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy on January 23 this year also had detailed various construction works taken up with the trust funds and said that any individual is at liberty to seek the details of the trust and utilization of its funds. (The Hindu, June 23, 2023)
- You mentioned that “Financial assistance to the tune of ₹93 crore had been provided so far to 176 endowments and private temples.”
- Can you provide information as to the names of the Temples, addresses and amount allocated to each of these Temples?
- Has the construction of these Temples been completed or at what stage of the construction. If they are not constructed, when are they expected to be completed.
- How much money has been provided so far?
- You said in the news conference that ““Renovation of 1953 temples has been taken up by the State Endowments Department and 320 temples by Samarasata Seva Foundation,”
- We would appreciate if you can provide the names and addresses of Temples the State Endowments Department has taken up.
- Also, can you provide the list of the names of the Temples and their addresses Samarasata Seva Foundation has taken up?
- How the money has been sent to these Temples so far.
Transparency is essential to create confidence among the devotees. To this effect you mentioned that we can ask for verification of the accounts instead of leveling baseless allegations.
GHHF is very much interested in following the protocol to ensure trust among devotees. We would appreciate your immediate response to the information requested.
Thank you.
Dhanyavad
