World Hindu Congress Conference started at IMPACT Centre in Bangkok with a banquet attended by more than 3000 on November 23.

Three-day World Hindu Congress (WHC) started on November 23 with a dinner at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok from November 24 to 26. Themed “Jayasya Aayatnam Dharmah” or “Dharma, the abode of victory”, the WHC 2023 promises to be a historic event. Dinner was attended by more than 3000 people.
 
It will comprise seven parallel thematic conferences, each focusing on crucial aspects of Hindu society, including economy, education, media, politics, youth, women, and organizations. The vision of the Hindu Organisations Conference is encapsulated in “Sanghe Sakti Kaliyuge” (Organisation is Strength), a press release said. Hindus from 60 countries attending this Conference.
The Hindu Organisations, Temples, & Associations (HOTA) Forum, which conducts the Hindu Organisations Conference, is dedicated to consolidating all Hindu organizations, temples, associations, institutions, and sampradayas actively engaged in furthering the Hindu resurgence, the release added.
“The HOTA Forum aims to empower Hindu organizations by providing essential resources, fostering networking, sharing knowledge and resources, and instilling a profound sense of pride in our shared heritage.”
The sessions of the Hindu Organisations Conference at WHC 2023 include:
•    202SESSION 1: Liberate Hindu Temples and Lands from Government Control and Encroachment
•    3 SESSION 2: Upholding Hindu Values and Samskara
•    SESSION 3: Hindu Organisation: Reaching the Unreached Areas
•    SESSION 4: Human Rights Violation of Hindus Around the World
•    SESSION 5: Encouraging Hindu Activism
•    SESSION 6: Panel Discussion: Collaborative Efforts of Language-Based Hindu Organizations.
I had the opportunity meet several Hindu activists such as Prof Salvatore  Babones, Shri Ashwini Upadhyaya, Shri A G Ponn Manickavel, Swami Bodhanatha Veylanswami, Dr. Anand Ranganathan  and many others.
