[GHHF] An Appeal for Annual Year-end Contributions to continue our activities at the grassroots level.

Dear Sanatanis:
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) has been working at the ground level to preserve our culture, prevent rampant conversion and educate our children to make them proud of our Sanatana Dharma. Wanted to share with you your experiences from our latest trip to Bharath. It was an enthusiastic whirlwind tour of over 15 cities in less than five weeks.  Glad to see good progress made on several of our initiatives and gained firsthand insights to enable us to assess the needs for our future expansion. 
Your continued support is appreciated not only to continue our activities in three countries – Bharat, Bangladesh and Congo – but keep expanding to serve our mother and motherland. Below is the chronology of our trip and the various events:

1) 20-Nov: We received a warm welcome by Sri Srinivas Yadav Kekala, and family, we got to drive to Kandi in Ram Challa’s “Organ Donation Campaign on Wheels”.

 

 

 

 

2) 21st Nov: GHHF organized a PRESS MEET at ‘Press Club’ in, Hyderabad demanding actions to protect, Hindu Temples, treat them in par with Churches and Mosques, and repeal the Endowment Act allowing Hindus to manage their own Hindu Temples.
a. GHHF is grateful to Sri LV Subramanyam, LV Gangadhara Sastry, Sri M Nageswara Rao, Sri Remella Avadhanulu and Smt Pankaj Srinivasan to echo the need for the independence of Hindu Temples.
b. Sri Venugopal, Arjun Rana Singh and our GHHF Bharat Team meticulously planned and executed the event with several news media and press journalists in full attendance 
c.  Rajesh Gooty’s advice is appreciated in making the press conference more effective.

4)  23rd Nov: Inaugurated Laksha Deepa festival at newly built Sri Venkateswara Temple in Yadagiri Bhuvanagiri Village; visited newly renovated Yadagiri Narasimha Swamy Temple.
5)  25th Nov: Visit to Visakhapatnam, planning & strategy meetings held w/Srinivas Pinnamaneni

6)  26th Nov: Darshan of famous Simhachalam - Sri Narasimha Swamy Temple in Vizag
a.  Visit to Srikakulam, Darshan of Sri Suryanarayana Temple in Arasavilli. The uniqueness of the Temple is that Sun rays touch the feel of presiding Deity twice a year.

 

 

 

 

 

b.  Visit to Bala Samskar center in Srikakulam, warm welcome by our teachers and students. GHHF initiated Bhajans program in ten villages, love the talent, dedication and passion in rendering songs with gusto creating vibrations and making attendees mesmerized. GHHF’s sponsored of Bhajan instruments was well appreciated

 

 

 

c.  27th Nov: Darshan of Puri Jagannath Temple, famous for its annual Ratha Yatra or chariot festival, in where the three principal deities are pulled on huge and elaborately decorated raths 

 

 

 

 

 

d.  Visited historic Surya Temple in Konark built in 13th-century CE, attributed to king Narasingha Deva I of the Eastern Ganga dynasty

 

 

 

 

 

7)  29th Nov: Press Conference organized by Sri Venugopal and team to address the issues related to TTD. It was attended by Sri Naveen Kumar Reddy, Kiran Kumar, Rama Devi, Sreenivas Mekala, Challa Ram Kalyan, Venugopala Rao, Vijayalakshmi, Prasad and others. 
a.   Demanded to protect Sanatana Dharma
b.   Demanded that Tirumala-Tirupati-Tiruchanur be declared as Punyakshetram – making it a sacred religious place like Vatican and Mecca
c.   This press meet was covered by seven newspapers and three TV Channels.

8)  30th Nov: We met the Collector of Tirupati and requested him to act on the order issued by Tirupati Urban Development Authority requiring the Commissioner to take action to implement the order that requires the removal of illegal churches in Tirupati. 

 

 

 

9)   1st Dec: GHHF organized a protest rally in Tirupati. It started in Balaji Nagar from Phule statue and ended in front of Panchamukha Anjaneya Temple. Despite heavy rain, a number of people participated and marched for more than one hour.
a.  Sri Venugopal, Board member of GHHF Bharat introduced several local leaders who shared our mission.  GHHF conducted a Press Meet and organized a protest rally with the team support. 

 

 

 

10) 2nd & 3rd Dec: Two day workshop by GHHF to provide adequate training to our Pracharaks to enable them accomplish their goals with dedication and clarity. 
a.  Sri Ashok, our instructor was well versed scholar who conducted several such workshops in the past, we had verses from Bhaghavad Gita chanted and explained to cherish our philosophy
b.  Fourteen Pracharaks from different parts of Andhra, Telangana and other states were gathered for these sessions. Feedback was very positive and recommended to have these conducted bi-annually
c.   Sri Rajesh Thunuguntla planned and executed this workshops successfully
d.   Glad to address the pracharaks and understand challenges first hand

 

 

 

 

11) 4th Dec:  Visited Rajahmundry for River Godavari Arthi. To refresh your memory, several years back through the efforts of GHHF, two Endowment Ministers Sri Ramachandraiah and Sri Manikyala Rao made it possible to have Godavari Arthi and Krisna Arthi daily. 
a.    Glad to participate in the aarati personally and proud to see the tradition continuing 

 

 

12)  5th Dec: Inaugurated “Vidyalayam and Devalayam” at a fisherman hamlet on the banks of Ocean and to prevent the conversion of about 200 fisherman families. We promised them to build this Temple if they remain Hindus. They agreed and we fulfilled our promise.

 

 

13)   9th & 10th Dec: Social Activity, attended wedding in Kochin

 

14)  11th Dec: Visited Kalady, the birthplace of Adi Shankara, saw the river where He diverted the river to make his mother able to fetch water, also where a Crocodile caught the leg of Shankara, the Krishna Temple and his statue. Wonderful experience.

 

 

 

 

15)  12th Dec: Visit to Bangalore to attend GHHF organized events: Meet with Dr. Omendra Ratnu event and spoke about the falsification of Maharanas history.  Meet with Dr. Joy

 

 

 

 

16)   13th Dec: Visit to our Centers in Assam, two state level meetings were organized by the team– one in Silchar and another on the border of Manipur. More than 1200 people attended Silchar meeting and more than 1100 attended the Manipur border meeting. Our Assam centers are the most vibrant and most dynamic, glad to have good anchors running the events for GHHF

 

 

17)  19th Dec: Had an opportunity to give a lecture on “Science and Spirituality: Are they compatible?”, at at Woxsen University in Sadasiva Peta, attended by 70 faculty members

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

18)  20th – 24th Dec: Several interview recordings were lined up by local media channels – Reflections, Nationalist Hub, Bharta Varsha and Suman TV.
19)  25th Dec: Planned return to hometown USA
Now you know what GHHF is doing to preserve and protect Sanatana Dharama, act upon the commitments, expand Bala Samskar Kendras, organize new programs such as Bhajana programs, and share our activities through speeches and interviews.
