Abbe J A Dubois (1770-1848), a Christian Missionary, who toiled thirty-one years to convert Hindus, wrote a book” Hindu Manners, Customs and Ceremonies”:
“India has always been considered most wealthy and opulent society, more favored by nature than any other in the world, a land literally flowing with milk and honey, where the soil yields all that is necessary for the existence of its happy people almost without cultivation. The great wealth accumulated by a few of its native princes, the large fortunes so rapidly acquired by many Europeans, its valuable diamond mines, the quality and quantity of its pearls, the abundance of its species and scented woods, the fertility of the soil, and the, at one time, unrivalled superiority of its various manufacturers; all these have caused admiration and wonder from time immemorial. One would naturally suppose that a nation which could supply so many luxuries would surpass all others in wealth.”
Global Hindu Heritage is very happy to inform that we started about 10 Bala Samskar Kendras in and around Guntur to teach about the richness of Hinduism, Hindu festivals, Hindu ethos, Hindu History, and culture and traditions. Sri Rajesh is a very active member in the community championing the Hindu Values not only to the children but also actively involved in making the Hindus proud of their culture.

Our children are being taught diversity of topics emphasizing the importance of our culture. In Guntur, some of the teachers taught about the significance if Hanuman Chalisa and started teaching the students to chant Hanuman Chalisa.
Hanuman Chalise consists of 40 verses dedicated to the devotees of Lord Rama.  It is composed by Tulasidas while he was imprisoned by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. When Aurangzeb challenged Tulsidas to show the lord to him, he replied that Rama could only be seen with true devotion. This angered the emperor and he put the poet behind bars. It is popularly believed that an army of monkeys menaced Delhi when Tulsidas completed his ode and recited the Chalisa. It is also a common belief among the Hindus that reading Hanuman Chalisa can reap several benefits. A few recitals of the Chalisa to  Hanuman helps one memorize it easily.
Lord Hanuman is considered a symbol of devotion, strength, and unwavering dedication. He is also considered a symbol of courage and selflessness, as he is known for his bravery and his willingness to serve Lord Rama. He is considered a symbol of physical and mental power and is said to have been born with supernatural abilities and powers. He is believed to have been able to lift and carry the entire mountain of medicinal herbs to save Lord Rama’s brother Lakshmana. He is said to have mastered many physical skills and is known for his exceptional strength and agility.
