GHHF Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned about revolutionary patriotic Khudiram Bose who was chanting Vandemataram as he was hanging.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation started with a mission to preserve, protect, and promote the richness of Sanatana Dharma. To accomplish this goal, we felt that it is the utmost of the hour to teach about our culture, traditions, mantras, rituals, morals, and our national heroes. This week, our teachers talked about a great freedom fighter named Khudiram Bose.
Khudiram Bose, one of the oldest immortal heroes of the Indian independence movement. Born on December 3, 1889, died on August 11, 1908, first bomb in the freedom struggles Chinese revolutionary. Bose lost his parents at a youthful age. During my school days, I was very fond of the speeches given by people like Aravind Ghosh and sister Nivedita. Affected. That is when he aspired to freedom.
The partition of Bengal in 1905 brought further hardships on the British government. In 1907, during the hearing of a case, many youths stood curiously in front of the court. Even though the situation seemed peaceful, the police attacked the youth. Unable to bear the attack, a 15-year-old youth named Sushil Kumar Sen hit an English officer. Judge King's Ford, who was hearing the case there, gave him whipping punishment in open area for everyone to see. But that courageous young man chanted Vandemataram for every blow of the whip he received.
After this incident, the freedom fighters have decided to teach a lesson to Kings Ford. The revolutionary heroes chose Khudiram Bose to kill King Ford. Since then, I have observed the behavior of Bose King's Ford and have become better for myself. Kings Ford returned to the European Club in Muzaffarpur in a horse-drawn carriage. When he noticed the vandals coming near him, he threw a bomb. This was the first revolutionary bomb fired in the Indian freedom struggle. But what I thought did not happen. They wanted to kill a Kings Ford in that buggy. Only his wife and daughters remain. Death sentence to the accused who caused the death of Ford's wife and daughters in the Muzaffarpur bomb case. imposed.
On the morning of August 18, 1908, Khudiram Bose was led to the handing Place. Holding the Bhagavad Gita in one hand and setting foot near Hanging Place he said the same words. "I could not achieve what I wanted; I could not punish the cruel King Ford. For the native country, nobody would get the privilege of sacrificing one’s life. That is what I got. "I am proud to get that opportunity." he replied. Then he asked the jailer to tighten the noose around his neck. As it was getting tighter, he started chanting Vandemataram till his last breath. Recently a railway station, where he was caught by the Britishers, was named after him as “Khudiram Bose Pusa.”
