[GHHF] Ghar Waapasi in Assam – Bengali Hindus and Bangladesh Hindus are discriminated – put them in Detention Camps and Removed Lakhs of Hindus from NRC in Assam. GHHF has written Letters to Home Ministry and District Collector
Graham Hancock, the author of “The Sign and the Seal, Fingerprints of the Gods.”
"In India, with its vibrant spiritual culture, its armies of ragged pilgrims and its remarkable Vedas raises the possibility that the real origins of civilization could be very different – not driven by economics but by the spiritual quest that all true ascetics of India still pursue with the utmost dedication. Such a quest does not deny that the basic material requirements of the human creature must be met but seeks to limit our attachment to material things and in general to subordinate material needs to mental and spiritual self-discipline."
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam. Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640.
Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been coordinating and organizing activities in ASSAM– Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar and other activities. He was responsible for identifying four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified 7 teachers for Bala Samskar. He even found three villages where Bala Samskar Kendras are being sponsored by them. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samrat Ji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.
His concern for the aggressiveness of Christians and Love Jihad by Muslims helped GHHF to organize these activities. We are grateful for his passion, dedication, and leadership qualities in organizing many of these activities.
Discrimination Against Bengali Hindus
Hindus in Assam are being discriminated based on their language. As per records about ten million Bengali Hindus live in Assam. It is not that they came to Assam recently. Overwhelming majority of them are native Assamese, that means they are born in Assam. Some of them cam from nearby Bangladesh even before it became separate country. The names of the Bengali Hindus are being removed from the voter list affecting the political dynamics in the State.
On March 4, 2022, on behalf of GHHF, Assam a memorandum addressing to Home Minister of Bharat has been submitted to District Collector Office, Cachar for continuous harassment of Bengali Hindus in the name of Doubtful voter. Thousands of Bengali Hindus in Assam even after enlisted their name in NRC (National Register of Citizens) are getting Notices from Foreigners tribunal courts as to prove their citizenship. Hundreds of Bengali Hindus arrested and sent to detention camp. It is required to be mentioned here that even after having proper documents names of 13 lacs Hindus have been dededucted from NRC. 90% victims of NRC are Hindus. Due to inhuman treatment hundreds of Hindus died in detention camp.
Echoing the distress of the Bengali Hindus of the State who are allegedly being harassed and hounded in the name of NRC and D-voter issue, the GHHF has claimed that certain vested circles have raised false objections against linguistic minority communities included in the draft National Register of Citizens (NRC) with the sole motive of harassing the poverty-stricken genuine Bengali Hindu citizens. It's very sad to mention here that state Govt is silent over the matter. As per them there is no difference between Bengali speaking Hindu and Muslims.
It is quite unfortunate and baffling that poverty-stricken Hindu Bengalis are being harassed in the name of proving their citizenship even after residing hundred years in Assam. 19 Hindus in Silchar declared Bangladeshi by the Court without giving them a chance of hearing. Hundreds and thousands of Hindus r getting notices from Foreigners tribunal courts to prove their citizenship.
Unfortunately, Bengali Hindus in Assam have become third class citizen. They are targeting by the missionaries, Islamists, PFI and also the so called system.
Islamic and Christian organizations have succeeded to convince the Govt on the point of not harassing their people in the name NRC and Foreigners case. Whole world knows that crores of Bangladeshi Muslims are living in Assam only, but Govt and administration are sending notices to Bengali Hindus to prove their citizenship.
GHHF legal cell has taken this initiative to fight for the justice of these unfortunate Bengali Hindus.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed twenty people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.
1) Donate any amount to help the Dharma Pracharaks to work at the ground level.
2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 - $3500.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored 9 Pracharaks
