GHHF Ghar Waapasi in Assam – Hindu Temple Construction Resumed with our Legal help; Started “Clean Temple, Clean Bharath” program started in 38 Temples.
Dr. Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy (1877-1947)
" Hindus have grasped more firmly than others the fundamental meaning and purpose of life, and more deliberately than others organized society with a view to the attainment of the fruit of life; and this organization was designed, not for the advantage of a single class, but, to use a modern formula, to take from each according to his capacity, and to give to each according to his needs."
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam. Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640.
Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been following activities – Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar. He has been talking about starting both the programs around Cachar and was willing to do whatever it takes to start these two programs in and around the city. He even identified four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified one Bala Samskar teacher. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samratji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.
His concern for the aggressiveness of Christians and Love Jihad by Muslims helped GHHF to organize these activities. We are grateful for his passion, dedication, and leadership qualities in organizing many of these activities.
Update on the Activities
Resumed the Construction a Temple with GHHF Help.
Few years ago, the villagers wanted to build a Hindu Temple for their daily worship and also to organize many of our festivals to bring all Hindu together and create a sense Hindu bond. The construction started and almost completed the shell of a Temple. The Muslims in the village threatened with severe consequences if they do not stop the construction. Because of the Muslim terrorism and threat to the families, they decided to discontinue the construction.
Our Coordinator Sri Samrat Dutta came to know through pour Pracharaks and decide to help them. He along with others went to the village and assured them of the help financially and socially. They made it known in the community, that they are going to resume the construction the Temple with GHHF support.
Few days ago, GHHF agreed to help financially to complete the Temple, the construction resumed. Once it is complete, Prana Prathishta ceremony will be conducted with GHHD help. Villagers expressed their gratitude to Sri Samrat about the help rendered by GHHF.
