[GHHF] Ghar Wapsi in Rompa Chodavaram – 15 converted Christians retuned to Hinduism; shared their experiences.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to announce that 15 converted Christians returned to Sanatana Dharma. Originally, we planned for about 70 to embrace Hinduism. Because of death to the members of these reconverted Hindu, they could not attend the ceremony.
The program was converted in the main hall of Sri Rama Temple. Each of them sat and performed Shodasa upachara Puja guided by one our priests. Our Prachark and his team worked very hard helping them to know the richness of Sanatana dharma. Rajesh talked about the tactics other religions use and how they exploit the innocent people. Hindus should be aware of the differences between Hinduism and Christianity.
Prakasarao Velagapudi expressed happiness for their return to their mother that is Sanatan Dharma and talked about the decline of Christianity in USA. At the time he went to USA in 1965, more than 80 percent Christians used to go to the Church every week. As t in it. the time went by people started realizing the message of Bible and started questing what is written in it. With increased education and exposure to Hindu way of life, the going to church declined to about 40 percent. As a result, many churches are being closed and were put on stage. Many Hindus in different cities in USA are buying the churches and converting them to Hindu Temples.
Our values are different. We do not abuse others. We do not condemn other religions. We do not kill and abuse others. Sanatana Dharma is like our mother. We respect our mother. We believe in Matru devo bhava, Pitru devo bhava, acharya devo bhava and atidhi devo bhava. They are all embodiments of God. We respect them, honor them and we will stand by them.
Since you are all coming back to your mother – Sanatan Dharma – we will honor them with new clothes. Ladies were given Sarees and dhotis.
Later we had a sumptuous lunch. We were reminiscing about the good old days; how happy they were and how they were lead to a different path. They all returned to their mother after a brief hiatus.
