Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is happy to announce that Rameswaram Villagers were able to stop the construction of illegal church. When they realized a Church being constructed in their village, they approached Sri Kollu Sreenivasa Raju to help them about the rules and regulations in the construction of Church. This church is not only violating the G. O. 376, but also violating the law that requires the construction of any religious structure to maintain 100 meters distance. 
Sri Sreenivasa Raju, who has thorough knowledge about different G. Os., different Acts and even Supreme Cour decisions, was approached by the villagers. He explained all the rules and regulations, and what steps to take to see that the law is enforced. He advised them to write a letter to the Honorable Allavaram Police Station House Officer. 
Following Petition was submitted to the Panchayat Secretary:

Chinta Janan is the person in question who is unauthorized to build a Church next to the Shiva temple which is under the Government's Endowment Department in N. Rameswaram village. The church is being built with no permission from any authorities.  All the villagers who are around the construction of the church are objecting to the construction of this church.
G.O Ms No.376 Dated 29-11-2012 Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994 prohibits the construction of religious structures without the permission of the District Collector and other authorities.  Thus, the concerned authorities can remove the illegal Churches and prayer halls that were converted the residences and businesses into Churches. 
  We also inform them that the Supreme Court rulings on this issue.
We request you to take immediate action and stop the unauthorized construction of the church, otherwise we will approach the high court to reject whatever G.O there is.
The person who is building the church is coming from somewhere and is not related to Rameshwaram or Rameshwaram Gram Panchayat but is trying to create communal strife in the village by constructing a church near the Endowment Devasthanam (Shivalayam) without any permissions.

Like most of the missionaries, Chinta Jana came from Pasarlapudi village to create communal strife by building a church in an unauthorized manner, making everyone quarrel with those who asked, he is spreading the Bible in such a way as to hurt our sentiments, and he is making every effort to create communal strife here. We have complained to the Collector, RDO, MMARO, Panchayat Secretary and request them to act against those who are creating communal strife in this area and create a peaceful atmosphere.
