[GHHF] Shiva Puja and Abhishekam performed in Dalit Community on Pradosha Kala on Monday.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation started with a mission to preserve, protect and promote the richness of Sanatana Dharma. To accomplish this goal, we felt that it is the utmost of the hour to teach about our culture, traditions, mantras, rituals, morals, and our national heroes. Also work toward the renovation and revival of Hindu Temples, open the neglected Temples, protecting the animals, and protecting the environment
In Ontareddypalli village of Kambadur Mandal, a program called Shiva Aradhana was organized at the house of the priests of Kollapuramma temple, Ravi Gari, which is in Dalit Wada. Description: Today in, a program called Shiva Aradhana was organized in every Gopi's house like in Dalit Wada.
First, everyone performed Gaupuja and circumambulated the cow. After performing Gadapa (Threshold) Puja, all the Hindu relatives who came from the neighborhood first put Tilak on their forehead, recited Gotras, performed Navagraha Puja, Panchamruta Abhishekam, Ksheerabhishekam on Shivalinga by everyone, Ashtottara Shatanamavali Puja was recited by everyone, and finally after Maha Mangala Arati, everyone was blessed by tying protection bracelets.
In the past, a Brahmin would not come to a Dalit colony, but he was proud that he came to our house not only on behalf of Save Temples and performed Abhishekam with Shiva Lingam, but he expressed his happiness by telling them that if such programs are done in all the villages, they would not want to convert to other religions as much as possible.
Similarly, Shiva worship should be done in every house and the blessings of Lord Shiva should come to everyone.
A flag with an image of Anjaneya Swamy and a Tulsi tree were given and told to do puja every day and the flag was tied on the house and the name of Rama was chanted.
Jai Sriram
STORY OF PRADOSHAN VRAT
Once, Devas and Asuras were churning the ocean to extract Amrit. King of snakes, Vasuki helped them to churn the ocean. Due to scratches on the body of Vasuki which was caused through churning, she emitted dangerous poison. Frightened by the appearance, devas and demons visited Lord Shiva for help. To save the world from the poison, Lord Shiva swallowed it. He took the poison inside; Goddess Parvati choked his throat to stop the poison from getting inflected in the body due to which his throat turned blue. After this, he got the name Neelkantha. As per philosophy, it is said that on 13th Hindu lunar day i.e. Thrayodashi, Devas and Asuras understood that by not worshiping Lord Shiva they have committed a blunder. After realization, they requested Shiva to grant them forgiveness. Lord Shiva forgave them and then danced between Nandi's (celestial bull) horns. It is this time which is known as Pradosham. Worshiping Lord Shiva during this time, i.e. Pradosh Kaal results in the fulfilment of wishes, desires and wants.
