Education for girls was regarded as quite important... In houses as well as in the forest Universities of India, boys and girls were educated together. Atreyi studied under Valmiki along with Lava and Kusa, the sons of Rama. Fine arts like music, dancing, and painting was specially encouraged in the case of girls."  Louis Jaccoliot (1837-1890)

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has been working in Assam for three years. We have started the Ghar Wapasi program with 4 employees, started more than 20 Bala Samskar Kendras, started Sowing Machine classes with 150 girls, initiated a program called Tejaswini for women in the villages, constructing a temple, commenced a free coaching center for children who could not go to schools because of the difficulties in paying tuition, and many more.

Sri Samrat Dutt, who is one of the Board of Directors of GHHS is a dynamic, passionate, and patriotic leader who spends hours helping Hindus in Assam villages.

A new concept with great intent introduced by GHHF Assam is Global Hindu Village. Now when we think and talk about Hindu Rashtra we should also keep in mind that small localities make a village, hundreds of villages make a district, thousands of districts make a State, and a number of states make a Rastra that is a Nation. so without making the village a Hindu Village or Hindu district or Hindu state dreaming of making the Nation a Hindu rastra, it's nothing but a joke. Mere political change cannot do everything.

I have started this project with a mission to create a prototype of a self-sustaining model of development based on the concept of “Gram Swaraj”. For the first time, there will be a model, which depends on Hindu civil society than on the Government for the development and security of Hindus.

Sri Samrat says that the idea of Global Hindu Village is: “Do not wait for the Government to solve your problems.” I   tell Hindus “We have to find solutions to our problems” and we will be able to make ourselves strong enough to solve our problems then political parties will also work on our demand.
When Ten of villages will come under this project we will name this project as “ Ramrajya project ” and will show the world the power of Hindus.
