Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is excited to announce that we have started the five-year-old tradition of providing water and food for animals facing the scorching sun. As you can see, Fruits and cantaloupes were provided to the cattle and monkeys in Kalyandurg village.
The Hindu law books and moral codes lay down specific rules, suggesting how animals should be treated and which animals should or should not be used for human consumption. Compassion to animals (bhuta daya) is an important virtue for those who seek liberation or those who want to lead virtuous lives on the path of righteousness to cultivate divine qualities. Killing animals without reason has the same karmic consequence as killing humans, since every living being on earth has an opportunity to evolve into higher life forms and work for their salvation.
This year, too, cantaloupes were given to monkeys and cattle. It is known that last year, after seeing the animals suffering from eating plastic, they were also taken to the veterinarian. However, many such programs are being organized under the auspices of the organization.
GHHF thanks the farmers who donated these cantaloupes and other fruits to feed the cattle and monkeys. As you can see, cantaloupes were brought
In the past, we had set up water tanks for the cattle in Kalyanadurgam town, and now, with the onset of the dry season, the tanks have been cleaned and painted.
Donations are appreciated.
