Will Durant: "The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within."

Prakasarao Velagapudi, President of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation was Interviewed by Mrs. Tara Narasimhan in Houston on July 16th to talk about the activities of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation. Prakasarao Velagapudi described the potential danger to the very existence Hinduism in India, how the history may be repeated where 400 years Islamic rule looted, raped, destroyed Temples, mass killings, mass conversions and ruthless persecution of Hindus. With the decile of Hindu population to 60 percent and increasing Muslim and Christian population, Bharath is facing untold misery. Hindus have not woken up to reality. They are still sleeping and keep denying the reality.
Following the interview, Mrs. Tara Narasimhan described the interview as follows:
Namaste Prakash Garu,
Thank you for joining me on the radio. It was nice to meet you and your wife at the India House meeting. I stayed till the Q&A started.
Wish I had informed you just before I left - apologize for the same. You brought out the points very well.
Wish people can understand that we all should remember the famous JFK quote,, that I slightly modified as follows, " Ask not what Bharat or we can do for you – what you can do for your country, Hindu Community for safety of our next generation Hindus"
The Radio interview with you as the President at Global Hindu Heritage Foundation last Sunday was indeed an eyeopener.
The message given is important and extremely relevant to pay attention to the warnings and challenges to Hindus now all over the world.  The unity and the sustenance of Hinduism in a decade has to be firmly guarded by one and all.
Prakashrao Garu is responsible for children chanting Bhagavad Geetha from Dattatreya Yoga center in Dallas. About 10,000 people gathered in Texas in the United States to take part in a collective recitation of the sacred text, The Bhagavad Gita, on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Monday, July 4th, 2023. The grand scale of the event marked the first of its kind in the US.
