[GHHF] Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, Shiva pooja and Abhishekam, and bhajan program were organized in Anantapur Villages.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that three programs were organized in the celebration of Krishna Janmashtami – Gau puja, Shiva Abhishekam and Bhajans.
Krishna Ashtami celebrations were conducted by children at Bala Samskara Kendra in Upponga village of Kalyanadurgam Mandal today. All the children were dressed up as Krishna and Radhika. They brought a bud pot vessel filled with butter and ever one was given an opportunity to hit it. All the villagers came to the program and expressed their happiness to see the programs being done by our organization. Finally, sweets were given to all the children.
Later, they participated in the Krishna Ashtami celebrations in Kurakula Thota village and organized a Shiva worship program at the house of Padmavati, the teacher of the Children's Samskara Kendra in that village.
 First, everyone performed Gopuja and circumambulated the cow. After performing the threshold pooja.  After that, the priest applied Tilak on the foreheads of all the Hindu relatives who came from the surrounding areas. Then the priest read the gotras, nakshatra and names of all the people who came to attend the program.   Following that the priest performed Navagraha puja, Panchamruta Abhishekam, Ksheerabhishekam on Shivalinga and all the villagers also did Abhishekam to Shiva linga. Then everyone, recited Ashtotara nama and finally after Maha Mangala Arati, everyone was blessed by tying protection bracelets.
 Sri Gopichary explained that Shiva worship should be done in every house and the specialness of Shiva Puja to get the blessings of Lord Shiva. He said everyone should apply Tilak on their forehead while going out and the benefits of wearing a blob were also told. An idol of Lord Ganesha was placed in the host family’s house and blessed.
 Finally, Tirtha Prasada was distributed followed by Annadanam, Bhajan was performed, and the program was successful.
 A flag with an image of Anjaneya Swamy and a Tulsi tree were given and told to do puja every day and the flag was tied on the house and the name of Rama was chanted Jai Sriram Jai Jai Sriram.
