GHHF Preserving Cultural Heritage: Animal Welfare Amidst Growing Challenges
The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF), founded in 2006, aims to protect, preserve, promote, and maintain Hindu culture, Hindu temples, mutts, peethams, endowments, Trusts, and other institutions globally. The organization’s leadership includes Indian-American professionals, with Prakasarao Velagapudi serving as the president since its inception.
In India, GHHF has long been at the forefront of animal welfare initiatives, tirelessly working to alleviate the suffering of animals and towards their other motives. The group also engages in cow protection efforts, preventing the transportation or consumption of beef. Recently, their efforts have taken a poignant turn as they care for a sick cow that ingested plastic waste.
