Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji arrived in New York on March 30 and began the Kumbhabhishekam rituals at SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir in Burlington, New Jersey, USA on 31 March 2026. We had the honor of attending the weeklong Pratishta ceremony. 
On March 31, 2026, Pujya Sri Swamiji arrived at SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir in Burlington, New Jersey, for the week-long Pratishta and Kumbhabhishekam of the deities Karya Siddhi Hanuman, Ganesha, Amba, Subrahmanya, Dattatreya, and Shiva. In the morning, Sri Swamiji blessed the Kumbhabhishekam rituals, toured the new temple, and performed Sri Chakra Puja. In the evening, a welcome function was arranged for Sri Swamiji. Members and devotees of the Temple expressed their joy and gratitude for Sri Swamiji’s blessings and guidance in establishing this temple. Various local leaders from the City of Burlington and the State of New Jersey attended the event and handed over their proclamations to Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji blessed the devotees with a discourse.
April 1: On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Pujya Sri Swamiji offered aarti to Lord Hanuman, performed Sri Chakra Puja, and blessed the devotees with a wonderful discourse. In the evening, Sri Swamiji participated in the Kumbhabhishekam rituals and led devotees in chanting the Hanuman Chalisa.
April 2: In the morning, Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja while devotees chanted Guru Gita and Guru Bhajans. Sri Swamiji performed Yantra Pratishta for the deities: Karya Siddhi Hanuman, Ganesha, Amba, Subrahmanya, Dattatreya, and Shiva. In the evening, Vid offered Sangeeta Seva. Sri Ganesh and Vid. Sri Kumaresh on Violin, Vid. Patri Satish Kumar on Mridangam and Vid. Trichy Krishnaswamy on Ghatam.
April 3: On the auspicious day of the Kumbhabhishekam at SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir, Sri Swamiji arrived at the Temple and performed Sri Chakra Puja. The Mayor of the Town of Burlington welcomed Sri Swamiji and the devotees for this historic event. Sri Swamiji blessed the devotees with a discourse. Sri Swamiji performed the Pratishta and Kumbabhishekam of the deities Chintamani Ganapati, Raja Rajeshwari Devi, Dhanvantari Subrahmanya, Dattatreya, Vishweshwara Shiva, and Karya Siddhi Hanuman. Sri Swamiji blessed the devotees with ’Toram’ to offer to Lord Hanuman and tied the first Toram. Devotees got the opportunity to offer their prayers to the deities. In the evening, Carnatic Vocal Sangeeta Seva was offered by Vidwan Sri. Malladi Suri Babu.
April 4: State Senator Troy Singleton attended the Grand Consecration of the SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir in Burlington. This was a truly special gathering as Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Founding Pontiff of Avadhuta Datta Peetham, traveled all the way from southern India to consecrate this sacred space and bless our community. The devotion, the beautiful music, and the warm hospitality reflected our shared commitment to faith, culture, and bringing people together. It was also wonderful to reconnect with my former colleague and friend, Dr. Upendra Chivukula. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me and allowed me to be part of this celebration.
April 5: Devotees performed Parayana of Sampoorna Bhagavad Gita for the first time at SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir. Sri Swamiji blessed the chanters, performed the Sri Chakra Puja, and delivered a discourse to the devotees. Members of the Temple expressed their joy and gratitude for Sri Swamiji’s blessings and guidance in establishing this temple and for the week-long programs. In the evening, Sangeeta Seva was offered by the Temple Bhajan group. Devotees performed Dolotsava to Sri Swamiji, concluding Sri Swamiji’s trip for the Kumbhabhishekam of SGS Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mandir.
