“Indian students should value their religious culture and of course, the classical Indian culture bears importantly on the meaning of life and values. I would not separate the two. To separate science and Indian culture would be harmful. …I don't think it is practical to keep scientific and spiritual culture separate.”
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam.  Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640. GHHF activities are being conducted in three districts –Cachar, Karim Ganj and Hailakandi.
Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been coordinating and organizing activities in ASSAM– Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar and other activities. He was responsible for identifying four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified 7 teachers for  Bala Samskar. He even found three villages where Bala Samskar Kendras are being sponsored by them. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samrat Ji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.

Sri Samrat Dutt went to rural areas in South Assam to personally experience the efforts of Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar Kendras as well as Flood Relief Efforts. He Met with Bala Samskar students, teachers and parents, meeting with villagers in four villages, organized Kabadi game with Bala Samskar students, starts another Bala Samskar Centre without salary, resolution passed on various Hindu issues.
Outcome of two days visit:
1. Parents shared their thoughts, feelings about Bala Samskar Centre, I am happy that GHHF Bala Samskar centres doing excellent job in imparting Hindu Dharma with more vigor.
2. Balasamskar Students recited sholkas of Bhagvat Geeta and other mantras like Guru Mantra , Gayatri mantra etc.
Guru Mantra recites is as follows:
Guru Brahma Guru Vishnuhu, Guru Devo Maheswaraha
Guru Sakshat Param Brhma Tasmai Sri Guravena Maha.

3. Organized Kabadi game with Bala Samskar students with a motive to encourage them to take part in outdoor games for physical fitness. Students divided in two team viz Rama Sena and Shiva Sena. After the match medals given to all the students as a mark of their participation.
4. Met with villagers of four villages. A legal aid camp was also organized. After the meeting villager's passed resolution and formed village defense committee to counter jihadis and evangelist s.
5. A local made wine shop opened by a Muslim person and used to serve alcohol to Hindu youths ata very low price.  When this news came to our notice and after our support all the villager's decided in the meeting that they won't allow anybody to run this wine shop, hence the shop was vandalized and wine shop owner gave in writing that he will not open this shop in the village again.
After spending 2 days and one night visiting all these places, Samratji reached home with sweet memories. He is more convinced about the efforts of Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar Kendras and how they are making the people aware of the need to undertake such efforts to protect and preserve Hinduism.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed twenty people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers.

1)    Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 - $3500.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored 9 Pracharaks.
2)    Sponsor One Bala Samskar Hendra for about $1000.00
