"Religious wars are not caused by the fact that there is more than one religion, but by the spirit of intolerance... the spread of which can only be regarded as the total eclipse of human reason." ---Montesquieu

1.       [GHHF] Performed Prana Prathishta to Peddhamma Talli in a newly built Temple in SC Community – in Kadiri Devarapalli Village in Anantapur District, AP;   (Jan 6/2023)

In this village, many of them are converted to Christianity. Yet a sizable number of Hindus remain in the Hindu fold. There is no Temple in the village. Sri Gopi Chary and his Associates visited this village several times and convinced them to raise funds to build a Temple. He said GHHF is ready to help financially, ritually, and by performing Prana Prathishta. Almost all the financial needs are met by the villagers and GHHF was very happy to coordinate the effort to make sure the villagers would have a lifetime opportunity to build and manage the Temple.

Praṇa Pratiṣṭhā refers to the ritual or ceremony by which murtis are consecrated in a Hindu temple. With the chanting of hymns and mantras, specially trained priests invite the deity to be permanent guests. After installing the Murthy, Prana (life) is infused into them. The murti's eye is opened for the first time. The ritual is considered to infuse life into the Hindu temple and bring to it the numinous presence of divinity and spirituality.

2.       [GHHF] Bala Samskar Kendras in Chennai – teaching the grandeur of Sanatana Dharma to SLUM AREA students who live in the poorest neighborhood; Amazed at the Students' capacity to learn. (Jan 5, 2023)

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that the Bala Samskar Kendras in Tamil Nadu have celebrated their year anniversary. One of the centers is being organized in an area called: “Slum Clearance Housing Board, Ezhil Nagar, near Kannagi Nagar Police Station, Thoraipakkam, Chennai.

The teachers talked about the progress they made and how Children were responding.

It is heartwarming to learn about the success of the program. As you can see from the pictures they wore Tilak on their forehead and chanted the slokas to their hearts' content.

It is also heartbreaking to see the conditions they live in. You can see all the children sitting in the corridor of the building in front of the apartments where the families live. There was not enough space. Still, commitment and dedication are no match for comfort or convenience. It is even more heartbreaking to know the family situations in which these kids are raised. Teachers tell us about how the children are treated. Sometimes, teachers keep them for hours to make sure the kids feel safe to back home.

Sri Srinivas Pinnamaneni and Sri Sridhar attended the event and encouraged them to champion Hindutva ideology. Sri Rajkumar and his brother Sri Ramdas are championing the cause of transmission of Sanatana values to these slum areas. Sri Rajkumar is assisted by five teachers who coordinate the program. Parents, students, and other community people attended the program. About 100 students attended this annual program in the Slum building.

3.       [GHHF]Bala Samskar Students learned about Sri Rama Maharshi, his life, philosophy, the importance of silence, and insistence on knowing the self (Jan 2, 2023)

Sri Ramana Maharshi was born on December 30, 1879, and died on April 14, 1950), born Venkataraman Iyer, was a Hindu spiritual master ("jnani"). He was born to a Tamil-speaking Brahmin family in Tiruchuzhi, Tamil Nadu. After experiencing at age 16 what he later described as liberation (moksha), he left home for Arunachala, a mountain considered sacred by Hindus. He lived on the mountain for the rest of his life

Sri Ramana Maharshi maintained that the purest form of his teachings was the powerful silence that radiated from his presence and quieted the minds of those attuned to it. He gave verbal teachings only for the benefit of those who could not understand his silence. His verbal teachings were said to flow from his direct experience of Atman as the only existing reality. When asked for advice, he recommended self-inquiry as the fastest path to moksha. Though his primary teaching is associated with Non-dualism, Advaita Vedanta, and Jnana yoga, he recommended Bhakti to those he saw were fit for it, and gave his approval to a variety of paths and practices.

He decided to leave his home and go to Arunachala. Knowing his family would not permit this, he slipped away, telling his brother he needed to attend a special class at school. Fortuitously, his brother asked him to take five rupees and pay his college fees on his way to school. Venkataraman took out an atlas, calculated the cost of his journey, took three rupees, and left the remaining two with a note which read: "I have set out in quest of my Father in accordance with his command.

5.       Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that our BALA Kendras celebrated the birth of Madan Mohan Malaviya.

He was on 25 December 1861  and died on 12 November 1946. He was an Indian scholar, educational reformer, and politician notable for his role in the Indian independence movement. He was president of the Indian National Congress four times and the founder of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha. He was addressed as Pandit,[1] a title of respect, and also as Mahamana (Great Soul). Malaviya strove to promote modern education among Indians and co-founded the Banaras Hindu University(BHU) at Varanasi in 1916, which was created under the 1915 BHU Act. It is the largest residential university in Asia and one of the largest in the world,[3]with over 40,000 students across arts, commerce, sciences, engineering, linguistics, ritual, medicine, agriculture, performing arts, law, management, and technology disciplines from all over the world. He was the vice-chancellor of the Banaras Hindu University from 1919 to 1938.

Malaviya was one of the founders of The Bharat Scouts and Guides. He founded a highly influential English newspaper, The Leader, in 1919, published in Allahabad. He was also the Chairman of the Hindustan Times from 1924 to 1946. His efforts resulted in the launch of its Hindi edition named Hindustan Dainik in 1936.

6.       The Peril of Conversions: In Defense of Hindus Protecting Themselves From Supremacist and Monopolist Christianity (Dec26, 2022)

The carefully calibrated challenge to the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) based in Frisco, TX, the lining up of Indian Muslim protestors in support of Indian Christian organizations, and the overnight publication of screeds and manufactured outrage in Indian American ethnic media, as well as statements to local media reporters, go to show the globalization of Indian politics and the internationalization of attempts made to undermine India.

But this is not new for those of us who have been watching the Indian and “South Asian” dynamic in the U.S. for the past three to four decades. Those young, and those new to these dynamics could do some reading of the three supremacist, monopolist, and violent religious/political creeds in India that sought to (and continue to) undermine India as a nation and Hinduism as the civilizational and cultural bulwark of India that is Bharat.

What is it that the GHHF, in its annual gala invitation, tells its supporters and potential donors? According to the American Kahani writer, a WhatsApp message that was forwarded to her said — “…where we are going to present our activities in Bharat to ensure the survival of Sanatan Dharma and also encounter aggressive Christian rampant conversion tactics through Ghar Waapasi, Bala Samskar (Sunday schools), renovation of grama devatas, demolition of illegal churches and other activities,” and “It is the dharma of every Hindu to preserve, protect and cherish the ideals of Bharat Mata. let us not be a spectator for the destruction, suffocation, stabbing of the motherland”.
