[GHHF] Bala Samskar Kendras – Students learned the importance of chanting “Sri Rama Rama Rameti …. ”
Gene D Matlock
"In ancient times, the country we of today call India was not confined to the Indian subcontinent alone. Its northern limit was the Artic Circle or North Polar regions. Its human inhabited parts began in the northeastern extreme of Siberia, including Alaska, extending downward through what are now Russia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir, and every other nation in those regions not named down to and including Antarctica or the uninhabited South Polar regions. The Indians in the North Polar regions down to Iran were called Scythians. These Scythians also extended as far west as the British Isles and eastward into China. They gave their name to Scotland. The Indians south of today's Iran were and still are, called Bharatiya.” (Source: Yishwara 2000)
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that we are conducting about 200 Bala Samskar Kendras in five States in India – Assam, Telangana, Andhra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. We have many active Hindus who are helping in different ways to ensure our children are taught about the richness of Sanatana Dharma. Each school is teaching different things and at the same time they follow the required syllabus to ensue all the students learn things that are common to all the students. It is challenging as the ages of the students varied from one school to another.
This sloka has the power of Vishnu Sahasranam
Parvati was very much alarmed at the ignorance and the consequent problems the people face on earth and asked Lord Shiva for the remedy. He said Vishnu Sahasranama is the only solution to get rid of their worldly sins and troubles. After listening to the Vishnu Sahasranama, she got worried and felt concerned with ordinary people who may not be able to chant 1000 names of Lord Vishnu
“Sri Rama Rama Rameti Rame Raame Manorama;
Sahasranama Tattulyam Rama Nama Varanane.”
Meaning :
This sloka is a part of Vishnu Sahasranamam, and it is recited at the end of Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Goddess Parvathi asked Lord Shiva about the Sloka which can be easily recited and equal to Sahasranama.
Then Lord Shiva told to Goddess Parvathi that chanting the Lord Rama name 3 times is equivalent to reciting the entire list of Lord Rama’s thousand names. That means chanting this “Sri Rama Rama ” sloka is equal to the entire Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Benefits :
By chanting “Rama Rama Rama” – the name of Rama, our mind gets absorbed in the devine consciousness of Rama, which is transcendental. The sacred name of Rama will wash off all our sins and we will have a peaceful and happy life.
Whenever we chant the name of Rama, we are reminded of his message to the world:
Always do good
Follow Dharma (Right path)
Be compassionate
Be savior of feeble
Respect parents and teachers.
Also, by chanting the name of Rama, Hanumanji will always be there giving strength and fearlessness.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We appreciate it if you can help in hiring more people who can go to these villages to do Ghar Waapasi. We have employed 26 people so far. More people we hire, more villages can be covered to welcome them back and also create Chaitanya (Awareness) among the students and villagers. Also, we are conducting 150 Bala Kendras in five States. Support one or more Kendras.
1) Sponsor one Bala Samskar Kendra for $1000.00
2) Sponsor one Pracharak: In order to expand our base and hire one Pracharak, it would cost approximately $3000.00 - $3500.00 per year. We have five anonymous donors who sponsored 9 Pracharaks
