Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to inform you that we have appointed four Pracharaks and Bala Samskar teachers in and around Cachar City in Assam.  Cachar is an administrative district in the state. The district headquarters, Silchar, is one of the most important business centers of Assam. In 2006, the Indian government named Cachar one of the country's 250 most backward districts out of a total of 640. GHHF activities are being conducted in three districts –Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi.

                Sri Samrat Dutt from Cachar has been coordinating and organizing activities in ASSAM– Ghar Waapasi and Bala Samskar and other activities. He was responsible for identifying four Pracharaks – two males and two females. He also identified 7 teachers for  Bala Samskar. He even found three villages where Bala Samskar Kendras are being sponsored by them. GHHF would like to express our appreciation to Samrat Ji for his passion and determination to coordinate and supervise these activities.

               His concern for the aggressiveness of Christians and Love Jihad by Muslims helped GHHF to organize these activities. We are grateful for his passion, dedication, and leadership qualities in organizing many of these activities.

18 cows Rescued from Slaughter Gang

Hindu Advocates Forum ll GHHF, Assam ll *Rescued 18  Cows and Buffalos and got the custody of a slaughter gang after a legal battle* .

Hindu Advocates Forum fought on behalf of Dhyan Foundation an organization working for cow safety. *Ariful Haque and  Sahid Hussain Laskar filed a petition to court for custody of 18  cows and buffalos which were seized along with a truck at Indo Bangladesh border by BSF*.

Hindu Advocates Forum objected to their request and filed a counter-petition mentioning the judgments of the Honorable Supreme Court and our mother High Court ie Guwahati High Court as to not to give custody of buffalos and cows to Muslims whose treatment towards cows was cruel also we argued that the above named Muslim petitioners will definitely send these cows and buffalos to Bangladesh for slaughter as these were seized by BSF near Indo Bangladesh border. At the same time, we quoted the particular sections of the Animal Cruelty Act also. Considering all our submissions and after hearing our arguments Honorable Chief Judicial Magistrate allowed our prayer to reject the prayers of Muslims and gave custody of 18  buffalos and cows to us ie Dhyan Foundation. Adv Victor Das of Hindu Advocates Forum led the core legal team for this case.

Relief work continued feverishly

On 25y, Our Pracharaks and others travelled 25 KM and distributed food items for about 200 flood victims.

GHHF, Assam ll Flood Relief ll Distributed baby foods, dry foods amongst 150 children at Abhayacharan  LP school relief Camp of district Cachar .

Distributed khicdi amongst 300 Flood Victims at district -Hailakandi .

Our team of volunteers of GHHF, Assam reached ground zero and immediately organized emergency refreshments like baby foods, safe drinking water, dry foods, Rice bags, and khichdi for flood victims right from day one when the devastating flood started rampaging hundreds of villages in Assam.

GHHF, Assam in collaboration with Rising Youth Society NGO distributed dry foods, 3kg rice, dal, soybean etc to more than 200 Flood Victims in the district of Cachar Assam. We are collaborating with more NGOs to reach and help more people in their distress.

* Distributed 700 ltrs of drinking water, 5kg rice,  soybeans, biscuits, dal etc to more than 200 families in District Cachar.

* Distributed clothes to adhibasi-dominated tea garden at Cache.

*Distributed khichdi ( cooked food)  to 50 families in District Dima Hasao.

Assam faces devastating floods, that wreak havoc on more than 4 lakh people. Rail, road, and air connectivity to the rest of Bharat was severely affected.

The worst-affected districts by floods in Assam include Cachar, Dima Hasao, Hojai, Nagaon, Charaideo, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Bajali, Baksa, Biswanath
